Novotel Berlin Mitte Hotel 4 stars

I stayed there for 2 day and we really appreciate the experience. Super fast checkin, the room is super clean and comfortable. I would stay there again for sure. The location is also super nice, close to many places around.

I have with great pleasure visited Novotel Berlin Mitte several times but this time my saty was very disappoiunting. Low service level - that roome aren't cleaned cannot be due to Corona - it should rather be the opposite , disengaged staff and banalities such as coffee7tea in the rooom was not present.

Rooms were clean. Staff were very nice and courteous. Loved that the hotel had bike racks inside the parking garage. Hotel lobby was nice, very clean and well organized as far as having sanitizers every where and social distancing stickers on the floor. Breakfast was not great though and therefore We only did breakfast one day at the hotel because although we understand that with COVID-19 things are a bit harder and had to change but I feel that if restaurants can feed people semi normally, than maybe the hotel could have a smaller menu but still able to cook a hot breakfast for their guests.

A great stay in the fairytale room. My daughter loved the theme of the room and the decorations around the room. The hotel had a great bar downstairs and a small kids area.

Location accommodation and breakfast all good. Staff pleasant and welcoming. Waking distance to town centre.

Pleasant surroundings, room modern and very comfortable with good wifi and large TV (able to connect my laptop too...)

Stayed here for 4 nights with family. The hotel is at a great location in central Berlin (closest underground stop is a few hundred meters away). It is close to a lot of historical sites so easy to get around on foot if you like. The hotel has a kids corner which was fantastic as we had a 7 year old. The room was ok, a bit dated but the biggest challenge for me was lack of management. So, 4/4 days, the food at breakfast kept running out with no one watching. People had to remind staff who at times shrugged shoulders or were helpful. The start of the day was ruined every single day as you had to wait for real long or make do with items left over. After the 3rd day, I sent a note to hotel management who till date (abt a week now) haven’t acknowledged which seems to suggest that it is a regular phenomenon. I mentioned at checkout and they said,yes, we just read your email - no remorse though! Took away two stars for poor experience and apathy from management from an otherwise great hotel.

Check in was great, efficient, friendly. They were ready for our early check in. Lobby bar area nice. When we entered our room we were so disappointed. The carpet was so filthy with staines I was never barefoot. The decor was outdated, cheap and looked awful. The bathroom was acceptable. The pillows and duvet was rubbish quality, and didn’t even cover the whole bed. Room was cleaned by staff nicely but they can’t do anything about the disgusting stained carpet and old shoddy looking furniture. The mod cons in the rooms were very basic. Kettle I didn’t use as looked so old. Even the light switches etc looked grimey and so old. Bar was nice, restaurant nice. Staff great. Location good, but I wouldn’t stay again or recommend due to the low quality rooms. Not a 4* for me.

Great location, friendly staff and a comfortable stay. The discretionary / unexpected delivery of pastries to our room on my birthday was a lovely gesture. We regularly use Novotel and Berlin Mitte was exactly as we expected/ hoped.

Staff was extremely helpful. They helped us a lot. Location is great. Rooms are clean and well equiped. (It’d be better if there was Nespresso and slippers) Definetely my choice on my next Berlin trip. Thanks.
