Considering it is a 4 stars hotel, the room was rather old (particularly the bathroom) and pillows not comfortable. A plus is for the kettle for tea/coffee and definitely the position, close to Alexanderplatz and museums. Service at the reception only positive experience with the young, tall gentleman with glasses, the other young man was quite rude and not professional.

The hotel had a good location, quite near to Alexander Platz. It is at the Museum Island, so within walking distance to several museums. There is also a metro station near by. The breakfast was nice, plenty to choose from. The beds were comfortable.

We have stayed in many Novotel’s. Loved this one but did find the cleaning staff quite rude . But otherwise the staff were lovely and nothing was too much for them
