Overall, a pleasant stay. However, the pillows could have been more comfortable, and unfortunately, the EV charger in the parking garage was out of order. This was disappointing, as the availability of EV charging was one of the reasons we chose this hotel and planned our stay accordingly. Apart from these issues, we had a good stay.

We had a great stay at the Novotel Berlin Mitte. The hotel is well located for sightseeing on foot if you're up for a good walk - otherwise, the Hop on Hop Off buses are an option and public transport is nearby. our room was super-clean and very comfortable. We did a mix of breakfast at the hotel some mornings (great choice; good food) and then went out for coffee and cake at a nearby cafe on other mornings as the weather was lovely and we wanted to explore! We'd definitely stay at the Novotel Berlin Mitte if we were visiting again - it's a great choice.

Novotel is well positioned to get to many of Berlin's sights easily. There are many great restaurants as well as the Berliner Dom and TV tower within walking distance. Potsdamer Platz is just a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. The hotel itself is clean, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We would definitely book it again if we found ourselves in Berlin again in the near future.

The hotel was good and reasonably priced. Negatives were that we received O. water refills / bottles after the first day (we stayed four nights). While the room was clean and housekeeping good, they never removed our empty bottles & glasses. When we asked the reception for advice on good local places where to eat the receptionist just googled nearby places to eat which we could have done ourselves. On our final night stay the fire alarm was activated and the communication from staff as what to do was poor.eventually once the alarm was turned off people just returned to their rooms.

On Saturday night, around 4 a.m., the fire alarm went off. We got up and got dressed, but didn't know what to do. The worst part was that no one answered the phone at reception. After an hour or two, it stopped ringing, and we had to assume it had been a false alarm. However, we couldn't sleep well after that.

We are very sorry that the fire alarm disturbed you during the night and, in particular, that not being able to reach reception added to your concern. During a fire alarm, our team members on duty must prioritize the required safety procedures and assess the situation. As a result, there may unfortunately be moments when calls to reception cannot be answered immediately. According to our records, the alarm itself lasted approximately 30 minutes. We completely understand, however, how unsettling such an incident can be at around 4 a.m. and that returning to a restful sleep afterwards may be difficult.
