Firstly located across Berlin Main train station (100m) Very modern, stylish with many deco details, nice large wide lobby lounge. Probably due to my All Accor status I was in top floor 6th floor large room (largest ever room i have stayed in an Ibis) Very young friendly and helpful TEAM

I would like to share some feedback about my check-in experience. When I first arrived at the hotel entrance, I did not realise that I needed to press a button to open the door. The staff member pointed to the button, but when I pressed the wrong one, the response appeared impatient and unfriendly. The reaction, including rolling eyes, made me feel uncomfortable. During the check-in process, the attitude of the front desk staff also felt quite unwelcoming. I understand that staff members may be busy, but patience and a friendly attitude are very important in hospitality, especially for guests who may not be familiar with the hotel facilities. I hope the hotel can take this feedback into consideration, as a more supportive and welcoming approach from the front desk would greatly improve the overall guest experience.

I have stayed at ibis Berlin Hauptbahnhof at least five times, and it has become my regular hotel whenever I travel to Berlin. The location is the main advantage. Arriving by ICE and being able to walk directly to the hotel within minutes makes travel extremely convenient. There is no need for a taxi, and everything is very close to the main station. For train travelers, this is ideal. The staff is consistently friendly, professional and efficient. Communication by email is quick and uncomplicated. Check-in is smooth and handled in a respectful and trusting way. I always feel well treated here. The rooms are practical and comfortable. The bathroom design is functional, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good and offers a variety of options. The only small suggestion would be a slightly better fixation of the mattress topper, as it can move a bit during the night. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly continue staying here.

quite disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The booking package clearly stated that bottled water would be provided in the room, but none was available upon arrival. When I asked the staff, I was informed that this was offered before COVID and is no longer provided. Instead, I was told I could drink tap water or buy from front desk. This was not what was advertised at the time of booking and did not meet my expectations. Additionally, there was no kettle, tea, or coffee in the room. This is a very basic amenity in most hotels. Without a kettle, how is a guest supposed to make a cup of tea or coffee? The lack of these simple facilities was both inconvenient and surprising. Breakfast was also disappointing, with limited options available. If you wanted fresh orange juice, you had to squeeze the oranges by hand yourself. During busy breakfast hours, this became time-consuming and impractical rather than an enjoyable start to the day.
