The hotel is very close to metro station that makes it very attractive. On the other side, the rooms were a bit 'empty' with no closet and no place to put the suitcases. There were no safebox at either of the two rooms we had booked. Finally a minor but important thing (for travelers) was that there were no slippers. Small things that make difference.

A corporate interpretation of an artisan hotel......

The hotel was just really sad. I understand the logic but the implementation was awful. This was thought up in a corporate meeting by the new IBIS Product Manager straight out of uni lol. The approach to create that artisan feel is awful. The colour scheme looks like it was vomited up. The faux fireplace and furniture are just naff. The beds are articles of torture....what idiot put beds in small bedrooms which have a 6 inch lip all the way around so that everytime you bash you legs. We original paid more for a upgraded room however it was overlooking the front so you got all the noise of the trams. We then downgraded to a quieter room which saved us £40 but as far as i could tell i got the same size room .... just quieter. The staff were not particularly helpful on the front desk and grunted when i asked to changed rooms. On a very serious note you need to address the shower trays. They are as smooth as a babies bum and i slide over hurting my shoulder the first night. You need to put signs in there explaining that you need to put a towel down. Had my 5 month pregnant wife done this i wouldnt be so understanding. Positively i thought the breakfast was pretty good and the breakfast staff were very friendly.

Great stay!
