Great hotel for a brief visit to Berlin. Location was perfect, right opposite public transport, room well soundproofed from the traffic outside and bed comfortable. Only downside was no tea/coffee facilities in room and the free ones from the restaurant weren't available during breakfast time. We were heading out early and just wanted a quick drink before we left. Maybe we're just more used to these being provided as standard in UK hotels.

The room was quite large but the hotel is situated on a very busy corner. The room gets quite warm by itself, so an open window is in my opinion nesessary, but ai ai..you hear trams non stop, very loud alarms for emergency etc. The water pressure was very low and either very hot or cold :(. I had not a very good night sleep and was happy it was only for 1 night. Maybe there are quieter rooms, but I would never return. The staff was nice though.

Friendly and helpful staff- (able to converse in English). Cheerful, vibrant room decor. Large bed made it awkward to “navigate” the room. Limited facilities but good value for city centre Hotel. Very well situated: access to trams and underground. Wide choice of excellent eateries and bars within 5 mins walking distance. Easy stroll to the Berlin tower and museums.
