If you’ve stayed at an Ibis Styles before, don't expect the same standard here. This property feels outdated, mismatched, and more like a budget hotel. While the location is great for the tram/underground and the reception staff are very friendly, the hotel itself needs work. Things in the room were worn down, and there was old black mould in the shower. Breakfast was frustrating as they ran out of eggs every day, meaning we had to wait around for refills. Also, be aware there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room (only available in the lobby in the afternoon). Word of warning on noise: My parents' corner room was incredibly loud due to the tram and nightlife. When we asked to move them, the staff weren't surprised at all and just handed over earplugs from under the counter because they were full. If you stay here, request a room at the back as ours was much quieter.

We were three people in a family room/2 double inter-connecting rooms and were pretty satisfied with our rooms. Our air conditioning worked well and did not find the hotel noisy but we were at the back and not overlooking the street. There were excellent transport options and nothing was too far away. We found the beds and pillows to be really comfortable. The only small niggle would be the towels. We were given one hand towel and a bath towel each but this was very small for a bath towel.

Room was dim, cleaned haphazardly and outdated. Marks on the wall, stained toilet seat, and spiders in the shower. Lights were dim and badly placed, beds were creaky and uncomfortable. Television’s ‘casting’ option did not work. Bad smell in the room upon arrival and phone did not work.

The location of the hotel is great. Btw, the AC didn't work well that I had to open the window during my sleep, so I want the staff to check carefully about this matter. Other things like the cleanliness and the breakfast are OK.
