We stay at this hotel a lot, like 3-4 times a year since 2019.. I have to say that the hotel is now really outdated, with rooms having dirty carpets, with shower lot of times broken. But the main downside now is that windows sound isolation is very bad and since hotel is on very busy crossroad, you hear everything, trams going around, cars honking, ambulances screaming.. it is hard to sleep. Also parking is now one of the most expensive hotel parking in Berlin.. 24 EUR per day.. The main highlight always was and still is very kind, nice and friendly staff.

I recently stayed 3 nights, while the hotel was well located & the room was nice, as an Accor Plus member travelling with a friend, I was embarrassed by the condition of the lounge. I did mention it to reception the next morning & they did offer to move to another room, but as we had already unpacked we didn't bother. I can supply a photo of the lounge if needed

We love to stay at Ibis Styles Berlin Mitte! It is our fourth or fifth time here. Very well located for both walking to attractions or taking public transportation. We like the breakfast (though it has worsened a bit) and the open coffee-machine service between noon and 10pm. It used to serve croissants too, but it seems to have become rarer. Cleaning is a bit confusing but cleaners are very friendly. The bathrooms have an impregnated smell I could leave without. Finally, we stayed here for 6 nights this time. I am a platinum member and expected welcome amenities, but got none. Allegedly, it would only happen in “higher Accor categories”, but I often get it even at Ibis hotels: got a birthday party in a Parisian Ibis Hotel once. My first stay here was fantastic. The staff, and I highlight a wonderful Brazilian lady who mastered all about using points - was incredible. There was a stress to ensure rooms numbers were given for breakfast. I understand the issue, but could be subtler. This time was a bit worse. So, overall, it was a bit disappointing. But I like it here so much that I will probably return.

Mold in the shower. Iron with an ironing board only for a deposit of 30! EUR. Poor breakfast.
