My stay at Mercure Luxeuil-les-Bains Hexagone was very good: the people; the cleanless of the room; the breakfast; wi-fi. In one word: excelent Nevertheless I would like to refer to an episode that made me disapointed. Not with this hotel. But with Accor. Why ? For this week, my reservations were: - from the 28th to the 31st of March, at Mercure Luxeuil; - from the 31st of March to the 1st of April at Mercure Bale airport - because I thought my flight back to Portugal was at 9h30 in the morning of o1.04. Then I realized that it was not the case. The flight was at 9h30 pm - in the afternoon. So I decided to extend my stay at Mercure Luxeuil (which I did) and cancel my reservation at Mercure Basel. the 29th, a call was made from Mercure Luxeuil staff to Mercure Bale, and it seemed there would be no issue about cancelation without payment. Nevertheless, the 30th Mercure Basel answered that I should pay anyway. I know the rules, and I know under which conditions I have made the reservation. But in front of the facts previously described and also given my status at accor, I was expecting a different response.

Bad hotel, disastrous bed.

The hotel is very 'old glory'. We were not happy taking our suitcases to the first floor because there was no elevator. What, however, really made our stay disastrous was the worst bed we experienced in over 10 years stay in Accor hotels. My back still feels the pain. Service was sloppy: dinner bills were mixed up... This is definitely NOT a repeat.
