Unknowingly allocated to a room with conjoining door - could literally hear everything from the room next door. Asked to be moved and had to be downgraded as no other availability. Bathroom shower had mould on the ceiling and smelt bad - had to leave light and fan running permanently with door to bathroom closed. Foyer 'perfume' was so strong and not pleasant. Breakfast was decent.

Things were going ok until we were woken by a leaking ceiling around 2am. It appears that there were some repairs in this spot and this is not the first time the ceiling has leaked in this room. Water was dripping onto the leather lounge chairs including my wife's handbag that was on the chair. Our night sleep was not great from this point. This was reported the next morning and while the reception staff was interested and stated they would take notes it appeared to be more about the room and less about us and there was no apology.
