Absolutely disliked the way the shower was setup. For starters, it was clogged the first night. Hotel was prompt in fixing it, but the size of the stuff that was clogging the drain indicated that it wasn’t part of a routine cleaning.
The walk-in shower door did not stop water from escaping to the outer bathroom area. The water also seeped into the toilet area as the walls were shared.
One sliding door to close the shower and toilet. If you close the shower, the toilet is fully open and vice versa. Big hole as a handle for the sliding door which meant you could see someone doing their business. Works well if you are a couple, really bad if you are staying with a friend.
Other than the shower, everything else was great. Turndown service was consistent, two complementary 1 liter bottles everyday was a nice touch and the hotel is very centrally located. Bed and mattress was comfortable as well.

Absolutely disliked the way the shower was setup. For starters, it was clogged the first night. Hotel was prompt in fixing it, but the size of the stuff that was clogging the drain indicated that it wasn’t part of a routine cleaning.
The walk-in shower door did not stop water from escaping to the outer bathroom area. The water also seeped into the toilet area as the walls were shared.
One sliding door to close the shower and toilet. If you close the shower, the toilet is fully open and vice versa. Big hole as a handle for the sliding door which meant you could see someone doing their business. Works well if you are a couple, really bad if you are staying with a friend.
Other than the shower, everything else was great. Turndown service was consistent, two complementary 1 liter bottles everyday was a nice touch and the hotel is very centrally located. Bed and mattress was comfortable as well.

Nice facility, the staff at the bar was unqualified. Our server spoke neither English nor German. Consequently it took a long time for the simplest order, and it still wasn’t correct. His supervisor was downright rude, in one instance when after 20 minutes a simple breakfast item had not arrived, he told us to pick up the food we ordered ourselves from the kitchen where it was prepared. He complained when we asked for separate bills.
In general, many of the staff had language and attitude issues.

Once you are inside you experience the calm grandeur of well refurbished historic buildings. The lobby is relaxing and the bar/coffee shop offers tasty home made cakes. The swimming pool in the spa is relaxing and just what you need to wind down or prepare mentally for the day ahead.
Unfortunately to get to the hotel is currently very challenging with a lot of road works causing confusion. Once inside it is, however, very quiet thanks also to the excellent windows that keep out the noise.

Long weekend with family and first time in Munich. Hotel location, building and front of house service was good.
Unfortunately the air conditioning was very poor and did not cool the room. The solution suggested by the front desk was a fan, but they were all in use so we did not sleep the first night.
In addition, there was room service food, plates and cutlery consistently left in the corridors for entire days on end.

Great location -- easy to explore the city from it. Beautiful hotel, great amenities, wonderful breakfast. When we got to our room/suite (it's one on two floors, top floor is master bathroom and bedroom, bottom floor is living room and extra bathroom), you could tell that cleaning was pretty superficial. A few of the trashcans hadn't been cleaned out and found some leftover food items, assuming, from previous guests. Additionally, the TOTO toilet upstairs was not functioning (less of a deal than the cleanliness component).
