Novotel is a no-thrill hotel chain well suited for business travel, corporate room rate acceptable but on higher end. Novotel Erlangen is not an exception. Internet works fine, restaurant offering dinner with standard items (but yummy) is on site. Breakfast buffet offers a wide selection, but tends to be pricey (- should be below 20 EUR). Hotel is my preferred one for Erlangen, others lack conveniences (e.g. Hotel Louise doesn't offer dinner options). A surprisingly nice spin is the little bowl of fruit and treats for hotel guests. The recent selection included "Brausebrocken" - a treat that made me feel like a 10 year old boy again...
