Good stay overall, and the hotel is very nice. However, the maintenance in the room seemed to be a bit lacking, as there appeared to be some mold on the shower ceiling and around the silicone seals.
It was also a bit disappointing to see that the minibars had been removed at least their contents. For a premium hotel, it’s usually nice to have the option of grabbing a drink or two without having to go down to the bar or head to a nearby store.

Rooms are clean, but outdates and worn out. They have smell that’s lingering regardless the fact that they are cleaned daily. Breakfast is good and well supplied.
Wellness is broken - showers not working for more than few months, wet sauna not working for at least 7 nights we were there. Quiet hour is not observed regardless the fact that most of the time there is staff present.
All in all - for this price, many much better options available in Berlin. Avoid.

Overall, the experience was okay. However, the toilet was covered in extensive mold, which was very unpleasant. Our itinerary was extremely busy, so we didn’t have time to report it to the front desk during our stay. That said, the mold was so severe that it’s hard to believe the housekeeping staff didn’t notice it during routine room cleaning. It’s the room of 812.

Brought my two children to stay for 5 days, to go to a concert in Berlin. Location easy to get to from the U2 station, and short walk to the Zoo and the TierGarten park. Pool and gym was lovely, and the kids absolutely loved the stay here. Will be coming back.

the room was fine as the hotel and the location .. desapoinment come from the service : water not replaced neither coffe an tea ... the first day .. second day the bathrobe were removed and not replaced ... cleaning ... we found forgoten object from previous visitor behind curtains on the floor ...

I didn't feel the Hotel was 5 star in all aspects. Staff were excellent and the sevice at bars and breakfast was faultless . However our first room we were allocated had mould all around the shower and the headboard was damaged. We did swap rooms on the second day but as we were only in Berlin for 3 nights this was a little inconvenient and some of the rooms offered as a swap had similar issues with mold . The member of staff on reception who sorted it for us was very helpful but the hotel really needs to sort out the condition of some of the rooms . Also I think in this day and age people expect a coffee machine rather than instant coffee in a 5 star hotel. It is a shame as the overall hotel is well located and a lovely experience in the communal areas . gym and pool were very good .
