Pleasant stay. Staff on reception helpful. The room itself was somewhat dated and in need of renovation. The self check-in didn’t work so we couldn’t access our room until after 5 when reception opened… Clean but all in all just OK. We’ve stayed in other Ibis Budget Hotels in other locations which were much better.

We booked at the last minute due to our car breaking down nearby. Nice clean room, good shower. But plastic covers on the mattresses made for a sticky night (don’t know how you would remedy this - obviously for hygiene purposes) No cooling or air conditioning available too (would have gladly paid for a fan) Breakfast was fantastic value, plenty of choice and very good quality. Hotel staff were helpful too. Impressed by this…. not sure it would be the same in the UK. It was fine for one night and very good value.

The room was not "refreshed" prior to our arrival, meaning there was dust everywhere, dead flies in corners, dust nets hanging on corners etc. The toilet was not refreshed either, I can provide photos of this. The shower holder was 50% broken. The receptionist never bothered to say Bonjour or anything else, didn't even make eye contact. Other than that, all was well.
