We will be back! Very convenient parking adjacent to the hotel, extremely comfortable room with view of the marina, great shower. All staff friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast choice and quality was perfect but the breakfast room seemed inadequate for the number of guests breakfasting on the Sunday when the outside space is unusable, eg out of season. Part of the problem is the layout of the buffet which is a single continuous line with the drinks machine at the end. On the Sunday morning there was a huge queue, quite frustating for guests. We wonder if the relocation of the drinks machine might help this bottleneck or perhaps having separate stations for different types of food. It might also make the task of replenishing stocks much easier for the lovely lady in charge!

Overnight stay in Granville

Very pleasant and friendly staff. Check in efficient (we hadn't taken advantage of checking in my internet). Plenty of car-parking available. View of the marina from the breakfast bar, terrace and bar made for a relaxing time watching the activity of fishermen and sailors preparing to go to sea or returning from a trip. Hotel is handily placed for access to the town and the harbour front restaurants. Breakfast is the standard IBIS buffet, constantly being replenished. Room very comfortable, we didn't pay for upgrade for a room with a view of the marina so we overlooked the car-park, but then we don't book hotel rooms to sit in them and look out of the window so we were more than happy with the location. Would return when we visit Granville again.

Everything was good no complaints ar all. Cleam room, comfy bed, good breakfast. Carpet near dining room & in lifts needed cleaning but that did not mar our experience.

The staff were welcoming. Parking was easy. The room, overlooking the Marina, was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom, clean and modern, was a little impractical e.g. little room around the basin to put items. Also there were no hand towels. I couldn’t re- charge my razor as the socket wouldn’t accept the two pin plug. The room was quiet apart from the doors closing. Our two day stay was spoilt by the poor quality of the food served in the restaurant. My wife couldn’t cut through her lamb and the replacement chicken breast was cold with a warm sauce over it. My mussels were lukewarm and not in wine - it was salt water. At breakfast the croissants and the pain au chocolat were of poor quality and stale. Very disappointing.

All good. Our dog was made very welcome on her first stay in a hotel. Excellent room overlooking the marina but we thought there was a kettle and tea and coffee last time we stayed. Missed having that early morning cup of tea! Also no “do not disturb” notice in our room.
