Very good stay with very polite and helpful staff. The Hotel is old but well kept and maintained with everything in the room working well. Also, the bed was comfortable. The showeroom has hand and body wash dispensers and a bathroom mirror that stays clear i.e. does not fog up when having a shower. The shower is of a good pressure with plenty of hot water. Obviously the hotel is very well located for the Granville marina. There is parking available. The breakfast is plentiful and very well looked after and kept refreshed by the woman looking after it. There is an offering of scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and bacon as well as many cold meats, pastries breads, etc. coffee, and juices. The Hotel is literally beside the marina and has a few restaurants nearby and is also less than a five minute stroll into the town itself. The nearest useable mainly sandy beach that is less than a 10 minute walk, on the other side of the small town. Here you can swim and there is also a Lido and paddling pool for children. We would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area

Booked a room for 3 adults as travelling with our daughter. Website sold us a room as you would expect with all beds on the same level. In fact, the additional beds were on a mezzanine up against the roof. It was 33 degrees outside and my daughter could not sleep the first night so ended up sleeping on the floor next to our bed. Next day asked if we could be moved to a room all on one level or given a second small roo. That I could sleep in leaving my wife and daughter to sleep on the other room. Not a chance. Have a fan they said, that'll fix it. If you want another room you can pay for it. The second day and night the air-conditioning was under central control! Just what you need! Asked for it to be unlocked but no chance. They did begrudgingly set our room to a lower temperature but we had no control in the room other than off /on and fan speed. Not ideal at all. I don't expect much from an Ibis but this was really the pits.

After cycling from Saint Malo this was a welcome finish and very well positioned on the front. Comfortable rooms and bike storage with plenty of restaurants nearby, excellent breakfast before we continued our trip to Caen.
