Parking was a problem, when we tried to exit the carpark the barrier didn't lift and it took us 15 minutes and a call to the parking helpline to eventually get out! Regarding the hotel - we stayed in a split-level family room, lovely breakfast and great views on the water outside, helpful staff.

Air con seemed to be set at 24C. This is too warm for sleep. My partner had a shomach upset after eating a fruit desert in the restaurant.

We had an excellent stay but when we tried to leave the car park the barrier wouldn’t work. And as we don’t speak French the communication with the speaker was fruitless. We went back to the hotel and were told the parking had nothing to do with them and I had to go to the port building. I do think that you should have some system in place when this problem arises especially with foreign guests , maybe you could ring the office and explain in French what has happened. It was extremely stressful.

Very good stay with very polite and helpful staff. The Hotel is old but well kept and maintained with everything in the room working well. Also, the bed was comfortable. The showeroom has hand and body wash dispensers and a bathroom mirror that stays clear i.e. does not fog up when having a shower. The shower is of a good pressure with plenty of hot water. Obviously the hotel is very well located for the Granville marina. There is parking available. The breakfast is plentiful and very well looked after and kept refreshed by the woman looking after it. There is an offering of scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and bacon as well as many cold meats, pastries breads, etc. coffee, and juices. The Hotel is literally beside the marina and has a few restaurants nearby and is also less than a five minute stroll into the town itself. The nearest useable mainly sandy beach that is less than a 10 minute walk, on the other side of the small town. Here you can swim and there is also a Lido and paddling pool for children. We would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area

Booked a room for 3 adults as travelling with our daughter. Website sold us a room as you would expect with all beds on the same level. In fact, the additional beds were on a mezzanine up against the roof. It was 33 degrees outside and my daughter could not sleep the first night so ended up sleeping on the floor next to our bed. Next day asked if we could be moved to a room all on one level or given a second small roo. That I could sleep in leaving my wife and daughter to sleep on the other room. Not a chance. Have a fan they said, that'll fix it. If you want another room you can pay for it.
The second day and night the air-conditioning was under central control! Just what you need! Asked for it to be unlocked but no chance. They did begrudgingly set our room to a lower temperature but we had no control in the room other than off /on and fan speed. Not ideal at all. I don't expect much from an Ibis but this was really the pits.

We had a fine stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious enough with a nice little balcony overlooking the marina. The shower room was small and reminiscent of those on a cruise ship but adequate for our needs in a short stay.
The location was good for us but may not suit others without a car as a walk is involved to connect to town.
The facilities around the hotel consist of a few restaurants. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but did choose to take breakfast one day at the onsite restaurant. This was clearly a bit of a morning hub for people and we were put off by the presence of so many dogs, which we could both hear and smell.
The bar was supposed to be open in the late evenings but we returned one evening to find it empty and like it was closed and another where the chairs were stacked on the tables as if closing. This did not make for a very comfortable nightcap and we went back to our room early each time.
