Day one: Tiny rooms, with many flying insects!!! Non functioning air conditioner, broken phone & safe! All of these surprises are in the first day! Day two: in the morning, i have reminded the reception about the air conditioning issue. Upon returning to the hotel around 3 pm, the room was still warm! So called the reception (from the other room because the phone still not working!) and the receptionist said: “well we have A/C in the hotel, so you room should be ok”, I replied: “yea you do, because that is why I booked this hotel, and the other room is ok & this is what I told the receptionists twice so fat”, she said: “well, it was not me, and we don’t have. Technician now”!!, I told her: “but I just so one fixing the reception A/C few minutes ago” 😎, she said: “oh, let me talk about this with my boss” Anyway, long story short, a small fan was given, no other room in the same floor was available and I am not sure if anyplace other room had a good A/C. We we got stuck with same room & small fan! Other thing to consider (in addition to be a small rooms,many scratches in the headboard and bathroom door, no tissue box, one product as hand soap +shampoo+body wash), location is not in mont saint Michel nor Pontorson as the name indicates!!! Wifi is slow, breakfast is below average except the coffee was good, free non covered parking was good, and pillows are not comfy. I will definitely not stay here again, nor I would recommend it.

Disappointing stay at the IBIS Pontorson. Room layout poor, light near window in an absolutely stupid place. Air conditioning didnt cool room and the window only opened about 5/6 inches. More annoyingly the pool wasnt open for the kids. We were informed at check in!! We were told it went on the website on 1st April. I made my booking on 2nd April!! Lots of people checked in after us and we heard them all told the same and seemed to have same disappointment. Again we were all informed it was on the IBIS website pool closed? On checking the IBIS website whilst waiting for our rooms to be ready at the hotel I proved to the staff this was NOT the case. They just said well we put it on? Not good enough!! Overall it was a very disappointing stay. No shower gel / shampoo in the shower (container empty) No hand towels in the room only 2 large towels Shower head kept dropping down while in shower. Breakfast was completely chaotic. Limited choice. Wouldn't stay again
