Disappointing stay at the IBIS Pontorson. Room layout poor, light near window in an absolutely stupid place. Air conditioning didnt cool room and the window only opened about 5/6 inches. More annoyingly the pool wasnt open for the kids. We were informed at check in!! We were told it went on the website on 1st April. I made my booking on 2nd April!! Lots of people checked in after us and we heard them all told the same and seemed to have same disappointment. Again we were all informed it was on the IBIS website pool closed? On checking the IBIS website whilst waiting for our rooms to be ready at the hotel I proved to the staff this was NOT the case. They just said well we put it on? Not good enough!! Overall it was a very disappointing stay. No shower gel / shampoo in the shower (container empty) No hand towels in the room only 2 large towels Shower head kept dropping down while in shower. Breakfast was completely chaotic. Limited choice. Wouldn't stay again

The room space is too small for a family of four, although the website allows four. After sofa bed set up by the staff, there was no area for luggages. The room was not comfortably warm. We had to wear thermo underwear to go to bed. We asked for earlier check-out by one night, the staff did not offer refund for the last night of reservation. It is not a typical practice for a large hotel franchise like ALL. The location of the hotel is very good.
