I prefer to book Novotel for my family holidays but this time not very good experience. Beds not good, the fourth bed is on the floor. Room was not very well maintained, stains on chairs, carpet. Pillows not good and enough, no extra pellow provided. No normal tea options, I had to buy tea bags, sugar & milk from outside. The location of the hotel is not very good also. No normal bread & toaster available for breakfast. Overall I am not happy with the stay.

There was an engine sound of the central air conditioners coming right from the outside of our room and although the windows were closed, we could hear it all night long which decreased the sleep quality during the whole stay. Apart from this, the stay was nice overall.

We had a very disappointing experience during check-in at Novotel Suites München Parkstadt Schwabing. We arrived at approximately 3:40 pm after travelling all day with two children. We were initially told that our room would be ready in about 10 minutes. After waiting around 15 minutes, we asked again and were once more told “another 10 minutes.” At that point, we became frustrated because it felt as though we were simply being given repeated short waiting times rather than an honest estimate of when the room would actually be ready. What disappointed us most, however, was the way the situation was handled by the receptionist. We were told that nobody guarantees a room exactly at 3:00 pm and that the hotel’s check-in policy is “from 3:00 pm, subject to availability.” While we fully understand that delays can happen and that rooms may not always be ready immediately, we believe the communication and customer service could have been handled much better. Instead of repeatedly telling us “10 more minutes,” the staff could simply have been transparent from the beginning and said that the room might take another 30 minutes. An apology and even a small gesture, such as offering some water or something for the children while we waited, would have completely changed the situation. Unfortunately, the discussion became unpleasant. We were understandably tired and frustrated after travelling with two children, but we were particularly surprised when the receptionist told us that, because of our attitude, even if they could have pushed to have the room prepared more quickly, they would not do so. We finally received access to the room at approximately 4:10 pm. We accept that operational delays can occur. Our main complaint is not simply that the room was late, but rather the poor communication, the repeated inaccurate waiting estimates, and the way the situation was handled once we expressed our frustration. In our opinion, hotel staff should be trained to de-escalate situations like this, especially when families have been travelling all day, rather than making the situation more confrontational. After this experience, we deliberately kept our interaction with reception to a minimum for the remainder of our stay. If the hotel would like further information, including details regarding the receptionist involved, I would be happy to provide this privately by email.

The entrance to the parking lot was too narrow. The parking lot staff were rude and rude. Both parking payment machines weren't working, and the man operating them by phone was simply rude. The room was clearly past its prime, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly.

I had a good week-long stay. The suite was spacious and comfortable and having a kitchenette made it more convenient. The hotel is a serve yourself type of hotel and no hotel restaurant, so keep that in mind. It is in a quiet area with beautiful green spaces nearby and the U-Bahn provides quick access to both the city center and Allianz Arena. The staff resolved a booking issue before my arrival professionally, however more issues arose later though resolved. Most staff were friendly and helpful though there was one who was less welcoming, the other minor issue is that the hotel is a little outside the historic center, though the transport connections make this easy to manage. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

Affordable, conveniently located near a small supermarket and tram stop and some street parking available. Wifi worked well and staff were friendly. We were a family of four staying in a family suite and while the space was roomy, the room had a bad smell, stains on the carpet, thin towels and old beds and furniture.

The hotel is very well located and the area was perfect. The hotel is super comfortable and the breakfast we had was great as well. Everyone found something they liked (allergies, vegetarian, vegan, …). The room was big and perfect for the three of us. The staff and everyone who worked there were nice and very helpful with questions.
