This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. We arrived for check-in at 3:00 pm, the official check-in time. The front desk gave us a room key, but when we went upstairs, the assigned room was not cleaned at all. We were then made to wait in the hallway for 45 minutes while housekeeping cleaned the room. Standing in a public hallway with luggage after check-in time is completely unacceptable. During this time, the hotel manager saw us waiting and told us that compensation could be discussed later. Once the room was finally ready, we went back to the front desk to speak with her. I politely asked whether any form of compensation could be offered, such as laundry service, given the long delay. She refused and told us that we had missed our chance for compensation, which makes no sense, since we were following her instruction to speak later. The situation became even worse the next morning at breakfast. A receptionist stopped only me and my husband from entering the breakfast area. I immediately showed my booking confirmation email, which clearly states that breakfast is included for our four-night stay. I even forwarded the email to the receptionist as proof. Despite this, we were told that our breakfast did not count because the booking was made through a third-party website. This is outrageous. Breakfast inclusion is part of the reservation, regardless of where it was booked. What made it even more disturbing was that no other guests were questioned or stopped, but only us. We felt extremely uncomfortable, singled out, and discriminated against. When I expressed my frustration and said that this was the worst hotel experience I had ever had, the receptionist raised her voice and yelled at me, saying: “Do not ever come back to this hotel.” I was shocked. Telling a paying customer who had booked four nights with breakfast included to never return is completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. Between the delayed check-in, false promises of compensation, refusal to honor an included breakfast, selective treatment of guests, and outright hostile behavior from staff, this hotel has serious service and management problems. I would strongly caution others before staying here.

I was on a business trip in Munich. It was a really spacious room right around the corner of my office which was great. A few minor things that I didn't like - there was a really bad smell in the toilet (luckily the toilet and the bathroom were separated) - the floor was a carpet which is really outdated and a bit digusting to be honest Other than that, I would stay again. But I think I still prefer the Motel One around the corner.

Hotel was nice and bed was cosy , room was clean and spacious, bathroom lacked a bit of elegance for a Novotel and on second day toilets started to smell weird, furthermore the shower was difficult to keep close so no water spills out and the room had a constant airflow so it created a constant whistling. For the price it was okay but expected a bit more maintenance and elegance, sometimes it seemed a bit outdated

Location isn’t ideal for family vacations but I can understand that it’s value for money. Hopefully the hotel can do some upgrade on the interior
