I was happy to find this hotel as the location is just in front of the Metro station, tram and from CDG airport is an easy way to get to. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I only had a bad experience with the continue booking as I have been approved by the system but actually no room for an extension. Then I received cancelation email later on. This is not professional, and then I moved to other IBIS Hotel.

There is only one issue with the hotel. In the surroundings it is impossible to find any parking spot for your car. The hotel has no parking possibilities and there is no parking garage nearby. Public places (parking along the street) is fully occupied, no free space.

Upon arrival at the ibis Porte Dorée, we were greeted by the friendly reception staff and free tea, coffee and cake - this was greatly appreciated after travelling to get to the hotel. The building itself is very Parisian and is situated in the 12th arrondissement, where there is so much to do on the doorstep, including a park with lake, fascinating museums, restaurants, and excellent transport links into the city centre by metro and accessible tramway - this was a safe and friendly area to be staying in. The rooms were clean and had all we needed for a short stay - even a phone to contact reception (difficult to stay on the wall in one room!), and the bathroom was above expectations. The lift was a real help for disabled guests as well as transporting luggage. We particularly loved the shutters and windows which opened, allowing for fresh air and the sounds of the city during the night or day. The staff were always accommodating and happy to help, with the offer of luggage storage. Reception was a sleek location which had maps and guides for the local area and wider city. Breakfast was also an amazing experience - well exceeded expectations! There was a broad range of buffet items, including hot food, cheeses, baguettes, cakes, pastries, organic/bio yoghurts, pancakes - plus toppings and condiments such as raisins, compote, and a wide selection of drinks including hot chocolate, tea and coffee. We particularly liked the 'eco-responsable' sustainability credentials and provenance of the food and drink, plus the in-house baked bread. This was coupled with again, very friendly staff who were attentive to guests' needs. Overall, a highly recommended hotel and the best we've stayed at in Paris! Particularly for the price offered, despite being a little further away from main attractions, access is easy by metro and exploring the local area on the doorstep of the hotel also offers a wealth of things to do and sights to see, even during a short stay.

Comportement très arrogant et condescendant de notre hôte d’accueil qui me maintient qu’il y a bien de la clim alors que la chambre avait été calfeutrée et qu’un ventilateur tournait à pleine puissance. Cela ne m’a pas engagée à la discussion et j’ai donc passé une nuit dans une chambre à plus de 30 degrés. Pour 200€ la nuit ce n’est pas correct. J’ai demandé à ma société qu’on ne réserve plus jamais dans cet hôtel.
