Our room was nice, however we were disappointed with breakfast. The quality of most items was not good, e.g. waffles crepes and cakes looked like those premade that you can buy in a supermarket. They were very slow in refilling items that were empty. For example the last day scrambled eggs were empty an hour before breakfast closing time and they never refilled it. Same thing happened with other items like honey, chocolate spread etc... The staff with a couple of exceptions were not particularly friendly, they were not smiling, they were obviously very bored.

Don't understand the upgrade policy of Accor. You really need to ask for an upgrade and that is annoying. It seems on the "check in paper version" I am a standard member and in the computer a gold member. I am staying every month in this hotel.

The check in was effortless and the staff very helpful, the hotel is in good overall coditions and the rooms are lovely with very comfortable beds and good facilities. this Novotel has one of the best breakfast selections that I have experieinced in the lst 6-years travelling through and around France. Sadly there were a couple of disappointments. the main restaurant was not open and bar restaurnat had a very poor selection of options for dinner, the Novotel sign for the car park is not prominant enough and caused me to drive around for a while in the heavy traffic. I was also not made aware of the construction going on directly in front of the hotel whcih ws not good.
