Best choice to be close to Barcelona center with good price

I was with my wife for few days in Barcelone, the hotel is well located , not so far to Barcelona center through Molins Del Rey train station you can quickly join the center (30mins) . Room is clean , bathroom .... daily cleaning , hospitality, i recommend it if you travel in Barcelone and looking for good price.

We arrived after midnight and expected the room will be ready. To our disappointment, the room was not ready. There were only one double bed and no bed to accommodate the extra guest. Also , no pillow and towel and cup for the extra guests. We have to ask the reception counter two times to make the things to be fixed. We have to spend one hour to get all the things settled. They did not make the room ready for the guests.

Basic Hotel with no amenities. The rooms are very basic and resemble college dorm rooms. There is no safe, no fridge, no coffee maker, no dresser or drawers. The bathroom has a shower with body wash, two bath towels, no hand towel or face cloth. There is a soap dispenser at the sink with paper cups. The front desk does list several items you can request such as shavers, a cooler for the room and such. The bedding consists of a light comforter and feather pillows. It is a futon style bed with a firm foam mattress. The hotel has a breakfast buffet. Breakfast is continental style with the exception of bacon and cold scrambled eggs. There isn’t any hot cereal. There are a variety of cheeses, cold meats, fruit salad, yogurt, cereals, breads, donuts, and croissants. To drink, there are various fruit juices, bottled water, teas and coffee. There is a coffee machine that makes on demand espresso coffee. There is hot milk but no cream. There is sugar and sweetener. Previous Trip Advisor photos show crepes for breakfast but they no longer offer them. The hotel has a restaurant in the evening. They also have a small bar. There is no store in the hotel but it is in a nice suburban area that has a grocery store, pharmacy and small cafes within walking distance. Overall the hotel is fine for a night or two but not for a longer stay. If you are looking to sightsee in Barcelona, this hotel is too far from the downtown. It is an 30 to 45 minutes by Uber and will cost you anywhere from 28 Euros to 50 Euros depending on the time of day. The hotel offers a map and instructions on how to take the train into town but there is a walk to the train and the train takes an hour.

The provision of towels is 2 per room (3 for triple rooms), but with the service that you can ask for as many as you want to use. A great hotel and a good experience in general. Breakfest was nice, everday a good apartment cleaning, friendly personal. What can be improved; better wifi, staff beter english and powerpoints at bed.
