This Ibis is in a very convenient location just outside Barcelona, and on the way south. The surroundings are a little industrial, but that doesn't affect the stay. Easy parking, easy to get to. The greeting at reception was friendly (on the way in and way out) and efficient. The only negatives - the room stayed chilly despite the heating being on (we arrived during a two-day cold snap) and the room shook each time a door further along the corridor (top of stairs?) swung shut.

Very chemical smells throughout the hotel. A very strong smoky smell in my room that itched my throat and caused coughing. Loads of noise from the truck loading docks all night. And the reviews and descriptions of the hotel on Booking don’t seem very true. If someone says the location was excellent they must be lying.

Staff was friendly and helpful.Hotel was clean and nice.Drawback is that it is far from FGC train station and location has no good restaurants nearby.In the night time , it feels isolated and located in the dark area.Hotel had all the necessary amenities for a budget stay but far from Barcelona city.
