Dear Ajay S., Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the ibis Barcelona Cornella. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Please note that we have not charged you for an extra room for your 3-year-old child; rather, we have charged you for an extra room because your booking was for 2 adults and one child, and 4 people arrived. The terms and conditions of your booking clearly state that your room is for a maximum occupancy of 3 people, and that includes children of any age. It is the guest’s responsibility to specify the total number of people staying, and you arrived with one additional person. If you attempt to book for 4 people, the system will always suggest 2 rooms because the hotel does not have rooms for 4 people. We cannot offer a customer a product that we do not have, and we do not have rooms for four people because, legally, due to the size of the room and for safety reasons, we cannot accommodate four people in the same room. We comply with the law and with safety regulations in the event of an emergency, and we will never put any customer at risk by flouting the law and safety measures. For future bookings, please always state the total number of people travelling with you, including all children and babies. At Ibis, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us.
