We have payed and booked clasic twin bedroom for our business stay and received queen sized bed and sofa. Even that sofa was not made for us when we got into the room. We were told hotel is fully booked and that they cannot to anything about it even thoug we booked a while ago. Manager did not help at all and said that we booked through agency and we should adress them (im in this business and I know how things work). I asked for some kind of compensation and did not get any emohaty or at least “sorry” from i believe Ana manager. Not professional at all. Cleanliness was ok as well as breakfast but even that could be much better for a 4* hotel which costs as much as we payed. Overall, we are not happy with service that we were given.

We had a great stay at the Novotel Barcelona City. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable, and everything worked exactly as it should—no issues at all. What really stands out is the location. It’s perfectly situated with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and key attractions, making it simple to get around Barcelona without any hassle. The staff was professional and helpful whenever we needed assistance, which made the experience even smoother. Overall, a great hotel in a great location. We would definitely stay here again.
