I would like to bring one thing to your attention: housekeeping opened my room without knocking on both mornings I stayed. While I forgot to place the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the handle, a quick knock before entering would have been appreciated.

Went for a three night trip to Barcelona with my two sons (aged 15 & 12). We had a great stay. The staff were brilliant, location was perfect (close to the airport, and a short taxi to the city). Nice small pool, and although busy at peak times, still enough space to keep my kids entertained and to cool off. Would happily stay there again.

In general, the hotel is almost perfect. What I did not like were a few small issues, such as paper cups in the room instead of solid ones, no lock on the bathroom door, and no boiled eggs in the restaurant. Apart from these details, it’s excellent. The staff is the best, they are really kind and helpful.

This hotel was an ideal choice for our family stay. Nice rooms (we were staying 2+2 in 1), all things needed - available (ex. towels, hairdryer), tasty, wide choice breakfast (buffet) and a swimming pool as a cherry on top.
Super nice people working there, understanding and helpful.
Close to bus stops and subway, if you prefer (like us) to travel with public transportation.
A little bit on a side thus you had to take the transfer length under consideration when planning your visit, but manageable. Hope to get back one day. Cheers!

I have been staying at Novotel Cornellà very regularly for the past 5 years, and it has always been a great experience.

During our stay, hotel maintenance staff entered our occupied room while my family was absent to carry out maintenance work. We had not received prior notification of this intervention. When we returned, we discovered that an attic/access panel inside our room had been opened and left partially open.
We did not initially know who had entered the room, why the panel had been opened or why it had been left in that condition. We had to report the matter to Reception ourselves before receiving an explanation.
Most importantly, the Director of Novotel Barcelona Cornellà, Mr David Barrachina, subsequently investigated the matter and acknowledged in writing:
“This should not have happened, and we fully acknowledge that the room should have been left in the appropriate condition after the maintenance work had been completed.”
The hotel has therefore acknowledged that something went wrong following the maintenance intervention.
I subsequently attempted to resolve the complaint directly with the hotel. The Director has now confirmed that the hotel will not provide a refund, compensation or goodwill gesture.

We only were in Barcelona for one night prior to our cruise, to start they checked us into a handicap room, which was very uncomfortable, our AC did not work, and we cannot be moved anywhere, and last when I connected my hair dryer it short circuited and would not work in any plug I tried. Overall, the staff was not friendly or helpful.
