I have been living in Novotel a lot of times, previous ones are quite cozy as well but quite commercial atmosphere. this one however is quite special, dynamic and vigorous atmosphere with a lot of cool facilities, makes you feel it is high quality hostel for younger generation :) There is no transitional old fashioned reception, all staff are working on the long dining table, which makes guest feel being welcome by friends Staff are quite friendly, breakfast although not too many options but quite fresh and tasty

The reception greeting area is stupid, not well marked or clear. After a long journey you are exhausted and tired so trying to "find" a reception area is not fun. The staff/people that approach you could be anyone, there is no clear uniform, name badge or anything that clearly identifies hotel staff. The information in the room is incredibly limited....there is nothing. Travelling and arriving exhausted then having to remember the phone number for the reception, phone number for room service, times of the breakfast. There should be the food service menu actually IN the room so you don't have to walk to the lift to take a photo of food available. The restaurant staff are incredible slow, unhelpful and need service training...shoving menus at people without asking which language they'd like is rude and assumptive. Not once during my 10 day stay was I given the drinks menu (which is also not displayed anywhere). The only staff member who showed any service/hospitality behaviour was a young staff member called Mathias. During the first week of my stay there was a wedding on Saturday with very loud music until 3 AM, this main issue that I have with the loud music is that at no point before was I informed. If the hotel had put a note through the door explaining there would be a wedding, loud music until very late but that as a valued guest of the hotel I was encouraged to enjoy the festivities and would be given a free glass of wine (or other party cocktail). There was nothing, nothing at all. The only good thing about the hotel is the food, so you put up with the crap service, unfriendly staff and excruciatingly long waiting times. I will not be staying in this hotel again and I will not be recommending this site to my colleagues , friends or family. Also this email was addressed to my mother who was a guest on my booking, so yet again I have been ignored.

The room I got was very old, with moquette that clearly needed a renewal. The cleaning was not perfect, probably because the moquette that I believe was hard to clean deeply. Didn’t have the chance to see other rooms. Mattress and pillow were fine.

From arriving to leaving I enjoyed this hotel. I arrived late from the airport the welcome from the staff was excellent. The check in is at a table but very professional and as such unusual. My room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel reception has a wonderful bar and amazing interior design. The food offered is good, not too expensive and served with a nice, friendly attitude. When I left the receptionist came to say goodbye and she hoped I was happy. Yes - I strongly recommend this Novotel. Well done.

all very well. You only have to improve the way of booking. It should be made clearer that there are 3 Novotels in Barcelona. Last time I booked in the wrong Novotel and never got my money back for the double booking.

As always the staff and hotel are very good. I am always disappointed however that despite notification of an earlier arrival, there is never a room ready. As you cater to international travelers it would be great if you can have rooms available earlier then 2pm.... Myself and many colleagues travel from overseas and have to go to meetings shortly after arrival. The ability to shower and change ahead of time is important yet it is never available. To be honest, other hotels in the area offer this and as much as I really like Novotel, this is a deciding point for me.

Had a wonderful stay at this Novotel. The staff make the place and are so attentive, and the hotel is well equipped with a gym, swimming pool, and quirky features like the oversized foosball table. Laura and her team were as always brilliant!

Staff are great and extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and always willing to go the extra mile. Almost everyone is fluent in English. Pity that the hotel is currently under staffed as makes the efforts of those on duty more challenging. Expect a half hour wait in the reception queue!

As i tried to cancel our stay, because our trip to spain was cancelled due to Covid 19, but without luck. We have payed 463 euro for a hotel we havent used, and couldnt cancel. Is that satisfying to us as a customer, no Will i ever book a stay with novotel again, no Wouid i, if a refund was possible. Yes offcourse i would, but now im left with lost money and a bad experience.

We are really sorry that you could not travel to Spain and stay at our hotel during the time you have planned, and we understand your disappointment. However, even with the Covid-19 crisis running ,our hotel is open and we are receiving clients all over the world, so right now we have to follow the conditions of every reservation, and if the reservation had a non prepaid rate we can not refund it.
