The reception staff was quite unfriendly and seemed bothered to be at work. For every request was no the first answer. I can understand if that happens once, everybody can have a bad day, but I was there for more than a week… only the night receptionist upon arrival was nice, friendly and helpful, otherwise no sign of hospitality. And I have also seen that it was not only me, other guests too…

Room was dirty, dusty, dead flies, stains , the shower gel/hand soap was almost empty. I told reception it was dirty, no apologies, didn't offer to help clean it.. I had to clean it myself. Absolutely disgusting

Unfortunately, my stay at ibis Köln Messe was a very disappointing experience. During my stay in Room 127, I was bitten by what my doctor identified as bed bugs, and I found evidence on the bed frame that was independently confirmed by two independent pest control specialists. Although the hotel staff were polite and immediately moved me to another room after I reported the issue, the incident caused considerable stress and left me with personal belongings that cannot be safely and effectively disinfected using standard methods. I am currently awaiting a response from the General Manager regarding my request for compensation for these items. I hope the hotel will handle this matter responsibly and take the necessary steps to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.

The hotel was as expected, good service, quiet, good location, excellent breakfast as in all ibis locations. The only bitter taste was created in the context in which we asked for the welcome drinks and the bar staff offered us only one drink for 2 people. Although the reservation was for two guests in a double room. Maybe you should give up this benefit if instead of producing pleasure it makes the tourist feel awkward.

The hotel is easialy reachable from Koeln-Messe Bahnhof, so good connection to the airport, and also the downtown is not really far away (30min walk). The breakfast is fresh and enough room for all the guest to go there in the same time. The receptionist is really nice and helpful.

Eftersom luftkonditioneringen inte aktiveras vid en utomhustemperatur på 15°C, kunde du inte få kall luft i ditt rum; dock skulle detta ha varit möjligt genom att öppna ett fönster. Breakfast was super. Rooms are clean and just for the night. I missed a refrigerator and a safe(vault) on the room. But besides that, it's a good hotel.

My room felt like a cabin into a shipping vessel, never cleaned any day

We regret to hear that you were not satisfied with your stay and that you booked your accommodation during Interpack with different expectations. We apologize for the lack of cleaning service and assure you that the experience you had does not represent the standard condition of the hotel and certainly does not meet our own expectations as hosts. As a trade fair hotel, you must understand that we have to charge a fee for accepting packages, as our storage capacities are also very limited, and there are options to have your packages delivered directly to the trade fair booth, although this involves higher fees. The costs for the acceptance of packages are also communicated in all our confirmations. If you booked your accommodation with us through a travel provider, it may be that due to service fees you paid more than with a direct booking. Therefore, we always recommend taking the direct booking route and would be pleased if you would consider us again at your next opportunity. Wir die mangelnde Sauberkeit des Zimmers 220 entschuldigen wir uns und versichern Ihnen, dass das Erlebte kein Regelzustand des Hotels wiederspiegelt. Wir haben ihr Anliegen bei unserm Reinigungsdienstleister bereits platziert, der dies zim Anlass nimmt, die entsprechenden Cleaner zu sensibilisieren.
