Easy to find the hotel. Just take the Incheon Airport ➡️ Seoul-Gangnam COEX City Airport 6103 bus. Get off at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel walk a few (3-4) blocks, once you reach the POSCO HQ turn left and you’ll see the ibis Styles Hotel.checking in is very simple and easy. Rooms maybe a tad small and needs a little upgrading, but overall it’s fine. Unless, of course, you’re very picky and wants bigger space. Then might I suggest you stay in the Grand Intercontinental Hotel 😅😂. Lots of restaurants, supermarket, bakeshop and convenient stores. A few Olive Young stores, if you’re into beauty products. The staffs are very efficient and courteous. Has a good command of English so communication is a breeze. One thing though, bring your toothbrush and toothpaste if you don’t want to pay KRW1000 or roughly 80 cents US. The inly negative I think is when you’re joining a tour and the meeting place is in Myeongdong. If that’s the case, you can stay ibis Styles Myeongdong. 😅

- gym is being renovated and therefore unacceasible, fyi it is December in Seoul, so probably the time of year where you want the gym the most. - some rooms are so outdated - Breakfast was poor - and it keeps getting worse. I was in this hotel 2 months prior and the breakfast was acceptable, not great but ok-ish. This time is was very few choices, less options available, staff who just hoover over you and your plate constantly. FYI the breakfast still costs the same price. - At arrival the person at the reception first told me they couldn't check me in, before even saying hello or inquiring about my booking. I am so used to travel that I responded directly "actually I believe I can." and indeed I could. The staff need to be trained really. - the fact that there are no restaurant opened for dinner is ridiculous. Same for the bar. Especially for being in an area with a lot of business travelers.

Please be informed that our fitness center is currently unavailable due to renovation works. We fully understand that this may have caused greater inconvenience, especially considering that December is a time when guests are more likely to wish to use such facilities. We also sincerely apologize for the condition of some rooms not meeting your expectations, as well as for the breakfast quality and menu selection, which you felt had declined compared to your previous stay. This is certainly not the experience we aim to deliver. Your comments regarding the breakfast operation, menu variety, and staff service attitude have been shared with the relevant departments, and corrective actions including retraining and operational improvements are being implemented. We deeply regret that the breakfast did not feel justified given that the price remains unchanged. Furthermore, we are very sorry that you experienced shortcomings during the check-in process, particularly as a valued Gold member. This matter has been taken seriously, and we will be reviewing our front desk service procedures and staff training to ensure more professional and welcoming service. We also fully understand your disappointment regarding the lack of restaurant and bar operations during the evening. Given the high number of business travelers in the area, we acknowledge your concerns and will internally review our future operational direction.
