Hello When we entered the room it smelled very dusty. There was also lots of visible dust on minibar bottles, the large mirror next to bed and lamp fixtures. The smell got better after we turned on the AC. We had just before this stayed at another hotel which was new and clean and had good indoor air quality so Imperial palace really did not feel like a five star hotel to me. Another problem came with the deposit. I had to pay 600 k Won and when I checked out the front desk said it looks like I haven’t paid any deposit. Luckily I had kept the receipt so I got the return of the deposit. But the whole episode made me loose trust in your hotel. Why do you collect the deposit in first place and how come you don’t know if you have collected it or not? Is it customers responsibility to keep the receipts or otherwise you will charge 600 k extra? I will not be returning to your hotel, that is for sure. The rooms are not five star quality and the service is very poor.
