Staff service is good. There is no air conditioning, so the rooms get quite warm during the day.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. During your stay, we experienced an expected temperature variation and we did not turn on our central air conditioning system. I am sorry that you could not have a comfortable rest because of the room temperature. At Novotel, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. I have already shared your review with our team and warn our engineering team about the unstable weather that impacts the room temperature. Everywhere in the hotel except for the room inside, it smelled like leaking from sewerage. Unpleasant ordor prevails lobby and elevators.

Dear valued guest, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. The smell you noticed comes from the construction work we have in the lower lobby. We are currently constructing two new restaurants to offer an even better experience to our guests. I am verry sorry that the smell disturbed you. Please be assured that our concierge team is closely monitoring the nuisance of the construction work and ventilate the lobby when needed. Also, as you said, we could not include your laundry fee in the invoice because we changed our system on March 2nd. Thus, your stay was split between our old and new system and the charges you paid first could not be detailed after March 2nd, in the new system. Please allow me to apologize for this issue. Our front desk team are learning really well and quickly the new reservation program and are doing their best to provide efficient check-in and check-out. Staff were very hospitable; room was comfortable and location was good. I would recommend; however, that you look at refurbishing some aspects of the room. There was a loose tile on the floor in the bathroom and a couple of the cupboards under TV need realigning (just wear and tear). The shower over the bath is not that safe especially for older people so I would prefer a stand alone shower for safety.
