Thank you as well for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your recent stay. We sincerely regret to learn that several aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations. First and foremost, we are truly sorry that our payment procedure at check-in left you with the impression that you were being treated with distrust. Please allow us to sincerely apologize for the discomfort this caused. We would like to respectfully explain that payment procedures may vary from one property to another, even within the Accor network, according to each hotel's operational policy. Our request for payment upon arrival is a standard procedure that is applied consistently to all guests and is never intended to reflect our level of trust in any individual guest. As one of our valued Diamond members, your loyalty is deeply appreciated, and it is always our intention to recognize your membership with the respect, appreciation, and benefits it deserves. We would never wish to make any guest—especially one of our loyal members—feel otherwise. That said, we fully understand that the way our explanation was delivered led to an unfortunate misunderstanding and left you feeling uncomfortable. For this, we sincerely apologize.
