The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The recreational amenities (gym, sauna) exceeded expectations, with gym clothes and daily use locker provided to guests. Room service was on point. Breakfast buffet had ample food options (korean/asian, euro/western). The business office was also a nice set up to get some work done if need be. Would definitely recommend to guests.

Aircon did not work, one night could not turn it off. Engineers worked on it, next 2 nights, it would switch off every 2 mins. Staff at restaurant (Tae Ho) very very rude. Haven’t come across a staff member at any service chain that rude. Elevators take forever.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with Eonju, Sinnonhyeon, and Gangnam stations all within easy walking distance. However, the housekeeping service was disappointing. After checking in late on Thursday, I noticed a steady decline in room amenities: on Friday, bathroom floor mat was removed and never replaced until Monday; by Saturday, the face towels were gone; and by Sunday, they had even taken the bathrobe I used without providing a fresh one (since I was alone, I could use the second one). It wasn't until Monday that all these basics were finally replenished. Additionally, the retractable laundry line in the bath would not retract back to the holder and left hanging; there was a pumpkin seed under the desk left from a previous guest, and the chair squeaks on any movement. Overall, the room feels quite dated, and I did not think it was 5 stars as rated by Expedia.com.
