The hotel is located next to the best ever shopping mall Lotte World Mall with many choices of retailers and eateries. It can link to the train station Jamsil and travelling by train to Starfield Coex is 15 minutes away. Within the hotel, the decor is beautiful and luxurious, with every detail to delight the guests. The therapist at the spa did a great job and the room is very relaxing with a pampering atmosphere. It has a decent swimming pool for loosing calories loaded from the spread of food at Club 32. Had Lunch Bento at Mio four times as the food was delicious and service was great. However, the service at Club 32 can be improved. Staffs were not professional during checking in as they gave differing treatments for different guests. We initially thought they could not understand English and realised later that their conversational English is good enough for communication and advising on enquires relating to tourist spots. The service at Club 32 was improved after we feedbacked to the Guest Experience Manager and related to him about Japanese hospitality. We supposed he had humbly accepted the gap and conveyed to the staffs about our experience. Throughout our stay however, one of us needs special food arrangement and they had made an effort to arrange it well professionally. Overall, the experience at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul would have been superbly awesome 10/10, if the service staff at Club 32 had been professional with all guests, and not only selected people.

We had a wonderful time during our week long stay. We arrived early and the hotel associates were very accommodating and allowed us to freshen up and store our luggage until checkin time. Service was friendly and very helpful. The hotel room was maintained clean, neat and tidy each morning. Location was great, close to transportation, amenities, mall and a wonderful lakeside view of the cherry blossoms. Overall a wonderful and very pleasant stay with you.
