Every experience was great from check in. I couldn't remember her name, but she was so nice and kind and treat my family stay with warm heart. At dinner, because of Sommelier, Mr. Hwang's kind hospitality, my wife told me she enjoyed the most wonderful dinner after giving birth.

The hotel is conveniently located at Jamsil Station (Line 2), right next to Lotte Mall, making it easy to get around the city. For our family, the hotel was accessible and well suited for my son who requires mobility access. Our luxurious room comfortably accommodated two adults and two children, and it was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially appreciated the well-stocked bathroom amenities as well as the complimentary bottled water provided. Our winter stay at Sofitel Seoul was excellent overall, with a warm and welcoming experience from the concierge through to the front desk. After checking out at 11am, we were able to leave our luggage with the Level 1 concierge while we did some last-minute shopping, before returning for our airport transfer at 2pm. This was very convenient and much appreciated. The only minor drawbacks for us were that the pillows were too soft for our preference, and the room was still quite cold despite several attempts to adjust the aircon to a warmer setting. Aside from these small issues, we had a very pleasant stay overall and would highly recommend the hotel, particularly for families looking for comfort, accessibility, and a prime location.

My stay at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul was a truly luxurious and deeply personalized experience from beginning to end — beginning well before I ever arrived. In the days leading up to my stay, the Sofitel team was exceptionally communicative. Every question and inquiry I had was answered promptly, respectfully, and with genuine care. The pre-arrival communication alone set the tone for the level of attentiveness and professionalism I experienced throughout my stay, and it made me feel both valued and well prepared before stepping foot on the property. Despite arriving over two hours later than expected due to traffic, the spa team graciously accommodated me without hesitation. The massage itself was slightly firm but very effective, and the body scrub was absolutely wonderful. I especially loved the thoughtful flow of the spa experience — from the beautiful showers between treatments to the soothing mask and overall ambiance. Guest Relations' Jisoo made my stay exceptionally special. She decorated my room beautifully for my birthday, including a heartfelt design on the full-length mirror that truly made me feel celebrated. She consistently complimented me whenever we crossed paths and took wonderful care of me throughout my stay, including arranging a lovely room upgrade. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness elevated my experience in a way I will never forget. Throughout my stay, the hotel surprised me with delicious desserts and thoughtful touches that made returning to my room a joy. Breakfast was very tasty, with high-quality offerings and a relaxed atmosphere. While my American Express package did not include breakfast, the hotel generously provided a substantial credit for incidentals and dining at their restaurants, which I greatly appreciated. Concierge Rohan was equally wonderful — kind, attentive, and highly responsive. He honored every request I had with professionalism and ease, making the entire experience feel seamless. Sofitel Ambassador Seoul exemplifies refined luxury paired with heartfelt hospitality. From pre-arrival communication to check-out, I felt genuinely cared for and celebrated. I would happily return and highly recommend this property to anyone seeking an elevated, personalized stay in Seoul.

Contemporary and exceptional facility, professional staff members, and good F&B options. I didn’t receive any platinum benefits as I booked through Amex THC. It would be a nice touch if both Amex & Accor benefits can overlap, like many other hotels around the world for Amex FHR/THC customers. I still chose to visit aware of this ahead, and I was still satisfied with the property overall.
