- I’ve called out to the front desk to ask some facilities but the person who picked up my call didn’t exactly know the operation hour of the fitness center which seemed very unprofessional. - Elevator system is very uncomfortable.

At Sofitel Hotels & Resorts, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore, your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. First of all, we sincerely apologize for not providing a pleasant stay due to lack of knowledge by employee, we will conduct employee training through the service manual once again and continuously manage it so that all employees can deliver professional and accurate information to the customers. In addition, regarding elevators our hotel is divided into for the safety and privacy of our customers. Stay was short but superb service and experience. However the only flaw with this hotel was the lift or elevators. Sometimes in some areas to the 2nd floor the elevator was really painfully slow. And the various elevators one needs to use to get to certain floors were also confusing.

I stayed in this hotel for 86 days. This is a fantastic hotel, with very kind staff, convenient amenities, luxurious service options, and great location. We have a great view of the Lotte Tower and the lake from our 1-bedroom serviced residence. For long-term guests, the reception organizes a complimentary social salon event with drinks and canapés every evening, which my wife totally loves. We are occasionally surprised by nice gestures such as a box of chocolates for the Lunar New Year. The operations team has taken utmost care for safety, especially given the Covid situation. Being so close to Jamsil station, it is very convenient to walk around or take public transport to see other places in the city. Overall, this is nothing short of a 5-star experience, which is why I give this rating!

Beautiful room and delicious breakfast. But I was asked to give my credit card and ID card at the lobby upon arrival and money was withdrawn while my stay was a gift for the day of my wedding. The swimming pool is beautiful but groups of teenagers and instagramers messing around made it really not relaxing. We you come to Sofitel you expect excellence and relaxation, this gave the image of a cheap resort hotel, with a safe guard only checking his phone instead of asking other 'guests' to be more quiet and stop taking photos of other guests to post on Instagram. The massage service that was booked for us was excellent, but prices were shown to us before entering while it was a present.

The guest service at this hotel is exceptional. The Hotel Manager Vincent leads from the front and his staff are all extremely courteous and efficient. The decor of the hotel is very pleasing to the eye, with a great blend of materials and colors. The hotel's USP is it's location as it overlooks the beautiful Seokchon lake and provides a vantage view of the impressive 555 metre high Lotte World Tower.

Very Frenchy and comfortable stay. Little upset by a 5 mins breakfast that cost 60K KW. Would be nice, for the ones who only look at the piece of yaourt to find intermediate solutions. The pool is also quite nice and the proximity of the lake gives an outstanding view.

- The room is too dark - guest who usesSwimming pool should be noticed to take shower before entering the pool. Everyone just jumped into the pool without a shower!!!! Very gross!!!! - it would be nice if the waiteress the bar at 32nd Floor have more knowledge of the menus.

Fantastic stay for weekend getaways

OMG, I thought that this would be a good stay. But it turns out it was a fantastic stay and I cannot come back soon. I stayed with my sister and mom for bonding, eating, and shopping. The hotel is perfectly located nearby malls and attractions. But, I would like to say more about the amazing service I got during my stay. at 32 floor, the lounge staffs were amazing. Anna who helped me to check in was very kind and thoughtful enough to check what I need. Also, she remembered us when we checking out and made it sure we need any help. The evening lounge was like a dream with nice atmosphere and great finger food. One of staffs ( I guess maybe a manager) recognized us 1st floor and greeted us. Since this is relatively new hotel, all hardware is wonderful. But, most of all, I think the service is very friendly and welcoming and this is what I like the hotel most. I already made a couple of more reservation including my wedding anniversary coming next month and cannot wait to stay again. P.S the breakfast is one of must do. I am not a big fan of meat so if someone looks for relatively heavy brunch style breakfast including various types of meats, this may not be perfect fit. But, if you look for french style breakfast with some international touch, you won't be disappointed.
