I stayed with my son while visiting family in Korea. It's conveniently located near Lotte malls and No. 2 and No. 8 subway lines, with easy access to Gangnam. It is a very new, modern facility with a sophisticated, timeless aesthetic. The room was beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. All the staff we encountered were warm, welcoming, and very helpful and professional. The pool offers a panoramic view of Seoul and has an outdoor hot tub, which we thoroughly enjoyed. In the past, we used to stay at similarly positioned hotels near Samsung Station (connected to Coex), but with all the construction in that area, it was a perfectly timed and refreshing change to stay at Sofitel in Jamsil. Will definitely return.

Overall the housekeeping was good but the first room we were allocated had a view that was blocked by a building and there was no city view. Thankfully, air con was noisy and we managed to change to another room with the real city view. Otherwise, reception staff were good and helpful.

We rarely stay at luxury hotels, so we decided to pamper ourselves a little during this trip while celebrating some very special milestones in our lives.
From our pre-arrival email exchanges with Hazel Yoon and Amber Lee, to the wonderful check-in experience with Julie Kang, who was amazingly helpful, cheerful, and welcoming, to our almost otherworldly journey at Latitude32 with Soo Bae, Ethan Kim, Ian Park, Jen Park, and Jack Na, every part of our stay was truly memorable.
Without a doubt, our experience at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul has become one of the core memories of our one-night adventure in Seoul. The warmth and hospitality we received made what was already a special occasion feel even more meaningful.
We were genuinely very sad to leave so soon. But trust and believe, we will 100% be back next year for our annual Korea vacation! Perhaps next time, we will have to stay a little longer. ð€

Nice during the week day but not nice during the weekend. They create 3 time slots for breakfast and you have to queue. Swimming pool can be booked only 1 time a day. So for such type of hotel is not a pleasure.

I loved almost everything about this hotel. From the cleaning crew to the front desk staff, the staff was very attentive and friendly. They had the most warm greetings and seemed to take pride in their work. The location was excellent too. It was right next to the metro station, a park, and the Lotte mall. The room was terrific. It was quiet and the beds the were comfortable. I loved the breakfast too. There were plenty of good choices to choose from so I was very satisfied with that.
The only thing that I didn't like was the shower. The main shower room, despite closing the door, would leak out water between the door and the glass wall so I had to wipe those. Maybe it was only my room, but the issue didn't affect the quality of my stay.
Overall, an excellent hotel and I look forward to coming B..
