This was a very disappointing experience, and in fact, it will be my last stay at this hotel. When I arrived on March 22, the front desk staff who checked me in was warm, polite, and professional. Everything went smoothly, and I was in a good mood — I even saw a cockroach in the room and still didn’t let it affect my stay at that point. On March 25, I asked the front desk if I could use my Platinum benefit for a one-hour late check-out. The staff member wasn’t particularly friendly, but she was still polite and agreed. I had no issue with that. However, on March 26, the day of check-out, things went downhill. Around 10:00 a.m., someone knocked on my door telling me to check out. I explained that I had already arranged a one-hour late check-out with the front desk the day before. Five minutes later, the same person came back and insisted I had not informed the front desk. I repeated that I had. Up to this point, I could still tolerate the situation, as there was no outright rude attitude yet. At around 10:30 a.m., I went to the front desk to return my key and check out. This is where the experience became unacceptable. The receptionist, who claimed to be the manager, spoke to me in an extremely unfriendly and condescending manner. She told me that I was not entitled to use the Platinum benefit, but “this time” she would not charge me the $20 late check-out fee. I explained that the front desk staff the previous day had already approved my request. She responded impatiently, saying she would check with the staff member, but insisted that I could not use the benefit — as if I were lying just to save $20. This hotel has surveillance at the front desk, and everything I said can be verified. I am extremely dissatisfied with this so-called manager. How can someone with such poor communication skills and attitude become a manager? She spoke to me as if I were a suspect being interrogated, not a paying customer. I never expected exceptional service from a budget hotel, but basic respect should be the minimum standard. A front desk that treats guests with hostility from the start is unacceptable. I will never stay here again.

This ibis is bigger than others and cheaper price. The staff is helpful but some problems, I think , they cannot fix it. I have to mention some problems and especially some cleaning problems. Maybe long time no maintenance, the room has some problems , like the window cannot be closed. When I tried to close the window , my finger was pierced by a nail at unseen part on the window and blooding. The carpet is dusted. The TV is blurred and in some room there is no remote control. The worst thing is I got full body bumps bite by unknown insects and always itching even till now. I don’t know there is pest control regularly or not. This is the worst part , because it relates to guests health!!! All in all, this ibis needs maintenance and the pest control. And cheaper price shouldn’t mean ignoring guests health. Clean is the most important thing in any hotel!
