The hotel was clean, comfortable and well located. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and well restocked. My only comment would be a second coffee machine would reduce the queue for coffee!

Breakfast excellent, room good, bed ok, duvet too small, not wide enough. We got in at about midnight, night porter was more interested in talking to someone on his phone than talking to us. When we asked if there was anywhere we could get anything to eat he just told us no and went back to his conversation, in fact ever time I saw him that week the phone seemed to be glued to his ear. I got the impression we were disturbing him. Apart from that a nice stay in a lovely city.

Lovely location and friendly staff. The bedding setup results in the bedding spending as much time on the floor as it does on you at night and the shower head was past its use by and the step out of shower can be a challenge
