Showed up to an incredibly loud toilet that wouldn’t stop running. The hotel was full so they couldn’t move us and said maintenance was unavailable that night and we would have to deal. Pushed to move to a different Mercure which was also full. Only when we pushed to move to another Accor hotel was maintenance suddenly available that night. Room smelled a little like cigarettes too. Breakfast was good.

Hidden gem, very near the Marienplatz, not too far from 2 train stations - Sendlinger Tor, Marienplatz. Friendly Staff especially Angelina. The Room is very comfortable - not a huge size but good size for European standards. More importantly - modern room with many power sockets able to power devices. Good large room safe. Even better - fairly new bathroom with white decor (so you can see that it is really clean) with Strong Hot shower, Good toilet. The bed mattress was firm, yet very comfortable. Breakfast has a reasonable variety including hot food, cheese & ham, and pastries. Drinks are also good. It also has a Mini-bar of various beverages included in the price.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and well located. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and well restocked. My only comment would be a second coffee machine would reduce the queue for coffee!

Breakfast excellent, room good, bed ok, duvet too small, not wide enough. We got in at about midnight, night porter was more interested in talking to someone on his phone than talking to us. When we asked if there was anywhere we could get anything to eat he just told us no and went back to his conversation, in fact ever time I saw him that week the phone seemed to be glued to his ear. I got the impression we were disturbing him. Apart from that a nice stay in a lovely city.
