We stayed here for one night to break up a long driving journey. The hotel is a straightforward, no-frills option that offers good value for an overnight stop. We booked a family room, which although small made the best use for bed space with comfortable beds. The only significant downside was the air conditioning, which was well below acceptable. The room became quite warm and uncomfortable, and we were fortunate that the weather had cooled compared with the previous day. The other members of our group (3 other rooms) had the same experience with the air conditioning in their rooms as well. No kettle provided in rooms and lighting is poor. The staff were all welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We also had dinner and drinks in the restaurant, where the food was enjoyable and the service was efficient. Food is a little overprices for the location. Breakfast offered a very limited selection but it was convenient and adequate before continuing our journey. Overall while the hotel could benefit from improved air conditioning, it represents reasonable value for money and serves its purpose well as an overnight stop.
