Only fault I have is , the towels in the room were of poor quality & thin . Not sure why as the last stay was not the same . Please Improve this . The staff are good & the breakfast great .

The staff really made this hotel. They went out of their way to help me with a problem I had with my room on the first night, finding me a stopgap room until morning when a more suitable room was found. I was shown it to let me decide if suitable. The mattress still wasn't suitable but I resolved it myself by turning it round, making it comfortable. I didnt mention this to anyone but do so now as a suggestion for when mattresses begin to sag. Staff were very attentive and helped me by storing things in the reception safe, printing things, calling a taxi and making me lots of cups of tea at the bar. The hotel is situated on a road with many useful bus stops, including the free town bus. It is a shortish walk to the train station if you haven't too much luggage. The evening meal option was 2 courses. I had it once and it was delicious but too filling for me. Breakfast is good with bacon, scrambled egg, boiled egg, bread, pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt and very good Americano coffee.
