We were greeted by Emilie at the front desk who checked us in, went over details and assigned us a nice room overlooking the river. She was professional, very friendly and made us feel like valued and welcomed guests. Our room was super clean, crisp linens, ample white towels, and very comfortable beds. Our room was a bit cramped but this is common in Europe, in our experience, but very bright, lots of natural light and pleasant colors. Breakfast was excellent with many choices available in a nice restaurant with lots of natural light. The train station was a five minute walk away which was a deciding factor for us. A lovely stroll over the bridge brings you into the historic center with many food options. This was an excellent stay at Ibis Styles. Emilie should be commended for her outstanding hospitality and being a valuable representative and employee of the Ibis company.

I had a wonderful stay in a spacious room on the top floor, which offered a beautiful view. I loved being able to open the windows for fresh air during summer and unwinding in the bathtub after a long day. The hotel is ideally situated. Crossing the scenic bridge every afternoon was a delightful daily ritual. They also offered very good breakfast!

This is the SECOND time that I have stayed at this hotel and I will keep coming back. It is well-located overlooking the Ardour river with such an incredible view over the city of Bayonne as well. The staff are great and very welcoming. The breakfast, which was included in the price was very good. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Bayonne.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. At Ibis Styles, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. We have taken note of your remarks regarding accommodation : we are sorry you felt like you did not have enough towels. Upon simple request at the reception desk , we would have provided you with more so that you feel more comfortable. As for towels left on the floor, we have double checked all cleaning dailytasks and your room was reported as cleaned everyday. Should there be any lack of service, the reception team is available to help you and resolve any matter. It is a shame that you did not come to see us when you were here so that we answer any demand or solve any issue. As for the carpark card, indeed we have only one access and we are sorry it was no longer available. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Everything was great except the breakfast coffee, it tasted shockingly bad. However, to the man on breakfast duty: there was little control of who was having breakfast, and that's probably why you didn't notice we were still there and started clearing our plates when we both happened to stand up a minute to get something from the buffet at the same time; we were there at the buffet, our cups and plates were half full and our room key was on the table. Never happened to me before, normally staff are aware of who is there, including room number, which was never asked. From the customers' point of view, it seemed like the lady was doing most of the work, non-stop. But wonderful receptionist on the day of arrival, she really went the extra mile for us despite being on the point of losing her voice. Only things I missed, comparing with other Ibis&Ibis Styles: water cooler and coffee/tea at reception, and recycling points being easier to find.

I found the hotel extremely well located next to the train station. My room had a lovely view and I was glad of the air conditioning in the heat wave. However I found it expensive for an otherwise poorly equipped room with no kettle and no walk in shower. The bath plug did not work and was not fixed despite mentioning the problem. I found the staff very friendly, enjoyed the breakfast and had a lovely holiday.

Helpful, friendly welcome. Very helpful when I need to advise about using public transport. Booked taxi to airport for us which came on time. They took care of our baggage when we checked out so we could explore the town. And when we got back we could use the foyer to relax before our late flight.
