The hotel is looking a little shabby and the restaurant is no longer top class which was reflected in how few people eat there these days We have been coming for over 13 years and have seen the steady decline in appearance and quality of service which is a shame as the location of the hotel and pool is fabulous and beds amazingly comfortable . The staff in general do a great job especially the cleaners . The hotel has no seating in the reception area and on turning up I had to wait 20 minutes for my room to be ready with nowhere to sit as the receptionist informed me that dogs weren’t allowed in the bar area for hygiene reasons. Given that the bar was closed and the area was empty was this necessary? She couldn’t provide me with an answer to where I should sit.
