We wanted a budget stay to break a long drive and this was perfect. Close to the motorway but a pleasant 30 minute walk to stretch our legs along the river to Bayonne itself. We knew before that we needed our own towels so were prepared and despite being near reception on the ground floor we had a quiet night and slept well. The member of staff on duty when we arrived was friendly and helpful. Being able to have our little dog sleep in the room in his crate was also great.

Obviously we knew we were staying in the budget option but we found the room very noisy. Think it's weird you don't have towels in the room. The following night we stayed at Campanile (at same cost) and got towels and a bigger room. One the positive side the manager was really helpful.

Arrived 23.00 hours, room was filthy and smelled of urine, not been touched since last occupant left, and not prepared for our arrival, as we could not stay there, we left immediately and ended up sleeping in the car, customer services have been informed.

The room was small but we only stayed for a night, so that wasn't a big issue. We were 2 and a medium-size dog and we managed. I wasn't expecting to pay more 1.95€ when I went to get the code, it would be nice to have that info somewhere. I did the check-in online and it was never mentioned that I would be charged extra at the door.

Very happy. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Renovated room very small but spotlessly clean. However absence of towels is a stupid economy given what you are paying for room. TV good sound. No probs with WiFi. Breakfast was scanty/ mean compared with Budget Ibis. Manager very helpful . Open area also very clean.

A compact room with en suite facilities was ruined by the absence of soap, there was no towel provided and the absence of a sink plug to enable one to wash and shave is ridiculous! Unless this situation is rectified I will not stay at F1 again!

I booked a very basic room with communal toilet and showers, comfortable and clean (bar a bit of dust under the bed). The receptionist was pleasant and helpful, lining me up with dinner for the evening. A major annoyance was that towels are no longer provided, which for the room price is poor. I was offered the opportunity to buy a fleece towel for €3 but declined as it seemed unreasonable for one night. During the night there was a lot of noise, which woke me on a number of occasions. Overall I felt that it was too expensive for the service offered and will be looking towards an IBIS in the future.

It's a 2 star hotel - I didn't expect any different.

easy acces, clean room, no hassle. Only breakfast needs to be available earlier. People stay because they are oma long journey and will therefore want to leave early: like 6 am

I arrived at 3am and needed sleep after driving for 12 hours. I was woken by the cleaner shouting in the hallway and knocking on my door. I have been holidaying in Europe for the last 3 weeks, staying in many hotels. This has been the worst experience I have ever had. I mentioned to the cleaner that he had woken me from my sleep, and he found it to be acceptable argue with me with an elevated voice.
