Very small room basic facilities no nearby walkable restaurants

Had a very early flight from Brisbane. Staff were wonderful and friendly and I had a wonderful nights sleep. Accommodation is basic and a bit old but it does its job for a 1 night stay.

We booked a day room stay last minute as had 7 hours to kill before our flight. Was ideal for our needs and budget friendly as well.

Booked this hotel because the google profile said that it had a shuttle to the Airport and other hotels on the airport were booked up. Decided to go with Ibis vs other because I wrongly assumed they would have minimum standards. WRONG! - No Shuttle - Hotel room is significantly worse than a hospital room - Dirty walls - water damaged lobby from leaking AC unit that has swollen wooden venires, evidently been like that for a while - prison like windows - TV from 2010 - Toilet and shower was more like something I would expect in a campground than a hotel - Dollar store curtain that was stained and moldy curtained of a portion of the toilet to form the shower I would avoid this place like the plague. The only good thing was the sheets were clean. This is my Third time staying in an Ibis first time in an Ibis Budget and every stay has been underwhelming at best. I will be avoiding the ALLCOR hotel chains from now on. This room stay was EXTREMELY overpriced
