Regarding the insects in the restaurant garden, our team regularly takes care of the outdoor areas, although being surrounded by greenery and located directly by the sea naturally means that insects can occasionally appear. We try to blend in local surroundings but will certainly share your suggestion with our gardener. Our Housekeeping team is always on site to provide additional supplies whenever needed, and I am sorry if this was not handled appropriately during your stay. I hope that, apart from these inconveniences, you were able to enjoy the unique setting and atmosphere of Sofitel Grand Sopot. We hope to see you again on the sea side. Insects in the restaurant garden — perhaps this is a problem that can be solved with right chemicals or by having staff with appropriate equipment? A small amount of toilet paper provided during the stay — this would prevent uncomfortable situations.

Great 3rd stay but... We were a little disappointed with your bar staff and their attitude on the night we decide to have a drink there. They were very attentive to a table next to us (must be regulars or VIPs :) )but not so much to others including us....they spend quite a lot of time talking behind bar not noticing empty glasses, not offering us "the drink snacks" and when confronted at the end they reply was far from great customer service.

Our stay at the Sofitel Grand Sopot was nothing short of wonderful. We booked a Luxury Room with twin beds and stayed four nights. Ours was a park view rather than sea view, and it was still lovely — quiet, green, and a nice thing to wake up to. We were lucky with the weather every single day, which meant plenty of time lounging on the hotel's private sun beds and taking dips in the cool Baltic. The staff were excellent too: every request, whether for bath amenities or anything else, was handled quickly and without fuss. The one thing I'd flag is breakfast. For the price, the spread felt limited, and the selection was narrow if you have any dietary restrictions. Worth considering whether to book the room without it and eat elsewhere in Sopot instead.

The hotel is a classic wonderfully situated on the Baltic Sea. Breakfast was spectacular with a wide assortment of both cold and hot options. Our room had a large bathroom with a walking shower but the sleeping area was a little bit small. On the other hand, the only negative of our stay was the service, particularly at reception. Although we are Accor Gold members, they refused to give us a room upgrade arguing that the rooms on the category immediately above the one we had reserved were occupied. We thought this was somewhat petty of them. Also, the staff both at reception and in the restaurant seemed a bit disoriented providing information that was at times misleading or downright erroneous. The spa was also a little bit disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

I will personally share your comments with the relevant department managers. Your remarks regarding the Spa are also appreciated. We continuously strive to improve our facilities and services, and your feedback provides us with valuable insight into areas where we can do better. Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback. We stayed in the junior suite for four nights with our four-year-old. Our stay has been wonderful, and the biggest part in making it so great has been the hotel staff, who have been very welcoming and helpful beyond our expectations. The hotel is housed in a beautiful building in an outstanding beachfront location. However, it is in desperate need of a complete renovation. The windows do not close properly, the carpets are worn and have an unpleasant smell, and the bathrooms are outdated, with no walk-in showers and dangerously slippery floors.

I really loved the hotel and its history. The area was also beautiful and I was very happy with the sea view and breeze. The only thing I missed in the room was easily accessible power outlets near the nightstand and would have preferred a separate shower, but I imagine it is not possible to always add this in a monumental property.

Everything here was top notch, from the staff to the room, to the location and the facilities. Was sad to leave and would definitely stay again. The only drawback was that the main bar was closed both nights we were there due to some photo shoots taking place there but the staff was super helpful in directing us to another spot for drinks.
