Hotel is well appointed in the center of Warsaw across the street from a shopping center and walking distance from Warsaw Central train station. The room was comfortable although the red walls and bathroom lighting were not my favorite. The breakfast spread was one of the best one I had - the hostess even found a nice table by the window for me. The Winestone restaurant downstairs was great as well with lovely menu, wine list and very pleasant and helpful staff. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I will certainly consider Hotel Mercur on my next visit to Warsaw.

We have stayed at this hotel several times, primarily because of its excellent location. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well situated, but unfortunately, the level of service does not match the standard one would expect from a hotel of this category. On several occasions, we have found the communication from staff to be unfriendly and lacking in basic hospitality. Rather than making us feel like valued guests, the attitude sometimes creates the impression that we are an inconvenience or somehow owe something to the hotel. This is particularly disappointing given the level and reputation the hotel is aiming to maintain. We were also very surprised that something as basic as hair conditioner is not provided in a standard room. For a hotel at this level, trying to reduce costs on such a small and basic guest amenity comes across as unnecessarily cheap and is simply not consistent with the image or reputation of the property. The hotel has a wonderful location and beautiful surroundings, but the quality of hospitality and attention to basic guest comfort need significant improvement.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel or staff barring the toilet you had to hold in to get it to flush. However on getting our drinks on Sunday we had terrible service from Natalia, she was very abrupt, told my sister to wait to be served as she was busy, my sister hadn’t said a word and certainly wasn’t complaining. Our drinks arrived and one was wrong, it was some kind of lemon drink. I went back to the bar and said it was wrong, to be told I had ordered it incorrectly. I know I definitely didn’t order a lemon drink! When the new drink was poured the glass was slammed down in front of of me, the Bacardi was thrown into the glass half of which ended up on the bar and luckily missed me. It was terrible service. I made a complaint at reception to be told that no one was in, and that I could speak to reception in the morning. I spoke to reception in the morning who didn’t want to know and said speak to the manger of the restaurant. I walked down and spoke to Kamil, he asked me to come back later I did so four hours later when we came back in for a while. He had no further news and asked me to come back again. There was no way I was doing that firstly I was on holiday and secondly it’s not up to me to chase for an answer to a complaint. I havent heard a word from you, I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in your lack of service. If you don’t respond to this I will contact head office with the above.

The booking experience, all staff interaction, the quality of the bed and the room, and the breakfast were excellent. Staff was attentive and friendly and took care of me in a wonderful way. There was only one issue I would like to bring to your attention. I had asked for a room on a higher level and was put on the second floor of 6. My junior male colleague who had booked the same room category as me was placed on the fourth floor. This might seem like a small issue to you, but it is a recurring and very annoying pattern that I have experienced many times before as I have already travelled a lot in my career with junior male colleagues and that shapes how I perceive how I am valued as a guest. The guys simply get put on a higher level. Additionally, in my case, the room was far away from the elevator as I had asked, but had a loud humming noise that kept me from sleeping in the second night (the first night I was too tired to realize, having had had a very early start, which is why I did not ask for a change). The sound could also be perceived in the hallway of the second floor, so maybe this is related to the ventilation in the restaurant directly below.

Staff is very helpful, and welcoming to children, including animal-shaped key cards and stuffed dolls for the children. Rooms are kinda on the small side. Shower was not great, water pressure is fine but it doesn't maintain hot water, fluctuating between desired temp and then colder/hotter and back again. Centrally located, which is great. Breakfast is good, but repetitive. After day 2 everything goes back to what it was before. Very little variety.

I had a wonderful experience, this was my first time renting a hotel by myself so I was nervous about it but everything went so smoothly. I love the aesthetics of the hotel, it's a bit different compared to other hotels and that's one of the reasons I chose this one. I did have issues with the casting to the tv in my room, I just couldn't get it to work so that was a bummer.

We stayed as a family with 3 young children in a suite for 5, featuring a living room and a bedroom, during a very busy period in August. Here is our review based on our stay: Pros: * Service: Very fast, generous, and polite staff. * Room & Comfort: Spacious and comfortable room with effective, pleasant air conditioning. * Amenities: Huge, soft, and high-quality towels. * Dining: Excellent breakfast overall. * Convenience: Great central location, plus a water refill station on every floor (including sparkling water). Cons: * Bathroom & Water Pressure: Terrible shower water pressure, making it difficult to wash hair. Both front desk reception and the technician sent to our room claimed this stream level was normal and came directly from the municipality, which I strongly doubt. * Family Amenities: Lacked basic items for young children, such as a non-slip bath mat and a step stool to reach the sink. The hotel stated they cater more to business travelers than families. * Room Facilities: The fridge functions more like a cooler. There is no makeup mirror or any mirror at all in the master bedroom, and the overall room lighting is weak. * Housekeeping: Cleaning service only replaced towels and toilet paper; trash cans were not always emptied, and bed sheets were not changed for a whole week. Toiletries were not replenished automatically, though staff brought them very quickly upon request. * Breakfast Operations: Items at the breakfast buffet were refilled very slowly.

The hotel is located right in the heart of Warsaw, just a 4–5-minute walk from the railway station and other public transportation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Pros: A big room with a comfortable bed and pillows, which are very important for a good night’s rest. The soundproofing is excellent — I didn’t hear either my neighbors or any noise from the corridors during my stay. The ironing room is located next to the elevators, and there is also a convenient water-filling station nearby. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of food, from sweet options such as pancakes and croissants to savory ones such as scrambled eggs, sausages, and pierogi. Cons: The room could use better lighting. Also, there were no slippers or bathrobes provided. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would definitely stay at this hotel again next time.
