Staff took very long to respond to queries over the phone. I had to call multiple times and still wasn't able to get help. Requested for pillows at night and toothbrush but was told that i will not be able to get them till the next morning. Very poor and disappointing service for a Sofitel.

We were greeted very nicely at the check in counter and the front desk staff was very polite. However, We tried to ask for more water to be delivered in the room using the app suggested by the hotel. No one arrived and it kept me waiting in the room for an hour. Then I tried to call the room service, no one picked up the phone. And the plug in the room wasn’t working. We had to use the hair dryer near the front door. We stayed at the prestigious suite for 3 nights. I thought I was staying a Mercure hotel. I think I should receive better service while paying at the 5 stars hotel.

Well located. The cleaning staff was quite indiscreet. While we were in the room, they came in and started to clean up the room and change the water. Water was not so much for a whole day. In the reservation I mentioned that one of the guests is vegan, but there was no vegan hot meal option for breakfast, so the hotel did not prepare for the vegan guest. Only vegetarian. Plant based cold cuts were also vegetarian, not vegan. No vegan yogurt. Therefore vegan options were fresh fruits, vegetables, warm mushrooms (some vegans - not us - do not eat mushrooms, though), beans and muesli. The staff in Kitchen Gallery did not speak English fluently and did not know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. Would've been nice to have scrambled tofu (at least on order if not in the buffet menu), sausages and cold cuts made of soy or green peas. Still, this was the widest offerings for buffet breakfast so far in a hotel, but we've been to 4 star hotels, where the kitchen prepared with vegan options for us after we told it during check in. However, a la carte vegan dishes in the restaurant were great for dinner. The welcome doughnut was a really nice surprise and it was great for one of us, but also, it was not vegan. The vegan guest should've got a vegan surprise. Otherwise, the stay was great.
