Overall, my stay was very disappointing and fell far below the expected Sofitel standards. Room & Service Issues: - The air conditioning in the room made a loud, unbearable buzzing noise, making it impossible to sleep. - The window mechanism was broken — the window could be opened, but it wouldn't stay fixed and kept shutting by itself. - The bathroom is outdated, with a very small and uncomfortable shower. - The breakfast selection was quite limited for a 5-star hotel. Unauthorized Charge:On top of that, I was charged $50 (equivalent in PLN) after check-out. I did not use or open any items from the mini-bar during my stay. No charges were presented upon check-out, and the hotel later deducted this money without my consent.Charging for consumed items that were never used, combined with poor room conditions, is completely unacceptable. I demand an immediate full refund for the incorrect mini-bar charge.

As tourist, the hotel provides easy access to old town and had all the amenities we expect. Large comfortable rooms, top quality breakfast, lobby bar etc.

As an Accor Gold member I received a double upgrade into a very comfortable suite with sweeping views across Piłsudski Square. At check-in I was also given a complementary buffet breakfast for one of the nights of my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the excellent staff provided a nightly turn-down service.

Nicely refurbished building, all the comfort what we were seeking. We enjoyed the spacious and calm lobby and the bar. The room had few features (eg. bathroom door, size of the bathtub) which showed the age of the bulding. But there are practical things, what we liked: ventilation in the bathroom was strong (we did not struggle with water condensation after the shower), comfortable bed with two types of pilows, different type of lightings (for reading, ambient), ironing board and iron. These are not special, but it is disturbing if you miss them... The list of TV channels and TV features were rather disappointing, we saw a football promo channel running instead one of the main German channels.
