I spent a few nights at this hotel. As the neighbourhood is very busy, the door is locked quite early at night. I'm surprised the room / lift keys do not also work for the front door - it would save hassle.

Overall I'm happy with my stay at ibis Berlin Spandau, except for my last morning. There was some kind of banging all over the floor around 9-9:30 in the morning. I had a late night and that banging from all directions was really annoying. I couldn't figure out what was it, but hell it was annoying. The room was clean and it had everything one may need for a brief stay in the region. I didn't visit the restaurant so I can't comment on it.

We stay at Ibis every time we come to Berlin, we stayed in November 2019 and then just this last week. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and the bathroom is brilliant. All the staff are most helpful, courteous and efficient, the mini-market is a really good addition to the hotel. Thank you see you again soon.

Just love it there. Best location. Train station right there. Our room was great. Awesome german breakfast and for shopping just go downstairs in the Arcarden ( Mall) with grocery stores etc. Friendly staff. Always great. Be back soon.

No tea and coffee facilities in room. Room was advertised as air conditioned but this was not the case. Double room was booked but was given a twin room. Lack of understanding from staff around car parking.

Staff..fabulous I unfortunately lost my passport and money on arrival. Two members of staff who were in reception at the time of my arrival went above send beyond to try to help. One member of staff had only been there 3 weeks. The other was a gentleman. He seemed to be in a more senior position. I do not know their names and were unsuccessful in finding them but they couldn't have done more for me. Room...not so good. I thought there was air conditioning. There wasn't. I found the room stifling. If I wanted air and opened a window the noise on a busy junction was horrendous when trying to sleep. Accident waiting to happen I am 5'4" tall. To try to open a window involved climbing on a chair and onto a work surface blocking the window. Design team have tried to keep everything neat and tidy but have given no thought into how to open a window if your not over 6' tall. Very unsafe.

Everything was great except the fact that one day before my arrival (on 17th of September) the hotel (as I assume by mistake) withdrew 73 Euro from my account then put the same money back, however because my account is in rubles I lost the exchange difference from those transactions (apr 300 rubles). Please be next time more careful.

The hotel is very close to Spandau station and shopping mall. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was nice. One thing I always miss at any ibis hotels is tea making facilitiy in the room, but I understand it is Ibis standard.
