Not having a coffee maker in a hotel room is a travesty - being forced to gather coffee from the buffet that costs money to add to the room makes it awful for autistic guests who don't have the same energy in the morning to deal with other humans before a cup of coffee. The room doors don't shut easily, several of my colleagues spent nights where they accidentally left the door open to their rooms. Having a combination hair, face, and body wash is not good for everyone. It was also watered down, making it feel like cheaper efforts were being made to preserve stock. The chocolate on the pillow is why I gave this a 3 instead of a 2 rating.

Hotel is located at very nice place, especially if traveling by bus. S-bahn and U-bahn are nearby. Local bus stops are also nearby. Rooms were clean on arrival and they were cleaned everyday. We were allowed early check-in and late check-out, with nominal extra charge. Staff were very kind and polite. Listened to our every need and helped us solve it. Breakfast was good but we stayed for 5 days, so it felt repetitive. Overall, great experience.

Dear Shiva T., Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience at ibis Berlin Messe. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated our convenient location and the cleanliness of your room, as well as the kindness and politeness of our staff. It is our goal to ensure our guests feel comfortable and well taken care of during their stay. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the breakfast variety. We strive to provide a satisfying dining experience and will take your comments into consideration for future improvements. Thank you once again for your kind words. Due to a medical emergency I had to book travel to and from Berlin immediately— including a rest at a hotel. The ibis' front entrance opens up into the coach station, which has regular runs to many locations. Plenty of food options nearby and wonderful and helpful staff; they even allowed me to check in early after I called ahead.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your positive feedback regarding your recent stay at ibis Berlin Messe. We are delighted to hear that you found our location convenient, especially with the proximity to the coach station and various dining options. Our team strives to assist our guests as best as they can, and we are pleased to know that they were able to accommodate your early check-in request during your time of need. We hope to welcome you back in the future under better circumstances. Mit herzlichen GrÌßen Viviana

1. Where is your guest supposed to plug in computers? Sockets are nowhere near the small table provided. 2. Your sanitary ware needs replacing- the shower doors are old and need a good clean. The toilet bowl was black and needs a good dose of bleach and a scrubbing brush. 3. We were offered an iron at a deposit of €20 and the half way through our stay it was demanded back! 4. Considering your location near the Messe conference centre this hotel needs to upgrade its facilities and housekeeping. 5. If you are expecting overseas guests then please ensure that your signs are in English and other European languages. 6. Overall an uncomfortable stay for the money!

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at ibis Berlin Messe. I am truly sorry to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding the placement of electrical sockets and will consider your suggestions for enhancing the convenience of our workspace. Additionally, the concerns you raised about the condition of the sanitary ware have been noted, and I assure you that we take cleanliness very seriously. Our housekeeping team is committed to maintaining high standards, and your input will help us improve. Regarding the iron deposit, it is our policy to require a deposit to ensure the safe return of the item. I apologize for any misunderstanding that may have arisen during your stay. Furthermore, I understand your concerns about signage, and we acknowledge the importance of providing clear communication for all our guests. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback, and I hope for the opportunity to welcome you back in the future under improved circumstances. best regards Celina
