We needed a place to stay for two nights, befor we could get into our rental in Rome. As a member of the Accorhotels bonusclub, I always look at the app, to see if Accor has something to offer. And as we are a family with two kids, and Rome is pretty hot in the summer, i first looked at hotels with pool... And let there be no doubt! The pool is the main attraction to this hotel. The room, hallway, lift etc was far away from, what one would expect from a Novotel 4 star hotel. We had breakfast both days, and the staff was very kind and quickly, restocked every thing, good quality of the food - but there was a lack q fresh fruit or vegetables. We ate at the restaurant at dinner and lunch, and it was ok, but again it is a Novotel! When you want to pay for dinner/lunch, you have to go in to the bar, and wait for someone to come, and make you bill, and this particurlar weekend, it took around 15 minutes, because it is the same staff, who are serving guest in the restaurant. ... All the staff we talked with or saw, during our stay, was very friendly and tried their bestnto help us, unfortunately it seems that management, have not given them the best tools to work with. The loacation is a bit off, but there is only a few minues walk to the train, that goes into Rome or 10 minutes walk, up to a small Village, with a grocery store and a pizzaria. Next time i go to Rome, in the summer time i would consider a stay here again. But it would be nice, if the management would support their staff and also upgrade the hotel to a 4 star hotel.

Me and my Family enjoyed our stay at Novotel Roma est, i really want to thank hotel reception and pool staff Ruben. Grecia, Marco, Alessia, Erika and Guido. And also a big thanks to restaurant staff for Guilio, Rosaria, and Vincenzo for the amazing hospitality during our stay. Overall we had an incredible experience . Thank you Novotel Rome Est.

Size of our room is about 24s.m. which is not bad. The hotel is in a quiet industrial area, so be prepared for long distance of driving as public transport is barely available. Staff members at the reception and the restaurant are friendly. Not all speak languages other than Italian. So one has to ask in Italian or speak to the few who speak English. Rooms for improvement: Security - No guards seen, no safety chain, no peep hole; Carpet - Old and dirty; Bathroom facilities: Hanging hooks inadequate; Room Cleaning: Understaffed and/or staff overloaded, Took longer than expected to clean, no refill of tea bags, no cleaning of used cups, no refill of tissue paper, not vacuum cleaned;

Only the location was a bit of a mistake, as train in Italy is very bad. The rooms was at a good size and main bed was nice. But the sleeping sofas were not so pleasant. The cleaning personnel have to be asked to fill up with new coffe and a like every day. The front desk personnel is very friendly and helpful, but many of them speaks only Italian so they are depended for those few who speaks English and German. The best part of the hotel is definitely the staff at restaurant and the bar. I would especially recommend Virginia from the restaurant and a younger bald guy, as they always meet you with a smile and a good mood. It seems that they work 365/12/24 and they seems to love their job♥️ If I owned the Hotel I would keep an eye of those two, as they have the right moral and spirit for more responsibility— if you meet them, send them a smile and a kind word, as they deserve it👍
