My stay was comfortable overall; however, I was disappointed by some interactions with the hotel staff, which did not meet the level of hospitality I expected from a brand like Novotel. I checked into the hotel at midnight and asked whether it would be possible to have a late check-out by one or two hours, as my return flight was scheduled for the evening. Instead of receiving a clear response, I was repeatedly directed to different staff members. Eventually, I was advised to inquire again on the morning of my departure when they would have a better idea of room availability. On the day of check-out, I was informed that a late check-out could not be accommodated under any circumstances. While I completely understand that room availability and bookings may not allow for late check-outs, I was disappointed by the way the message was communicated. One staff member stated that they could not allow me to check out even “a few seconds” late, which came across as unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. I also felt that some staff members during breakfast were not particularly welcoming. As an international guest, I expected a higher standard of courtesy and hospitality. This review reflects my genuine experience. While the stay itself was comfortable, the quality of customer service did not match my expectations of the Novotel brand.

The hotel is in very good condition and well maintained. The rooms are nice, clean, and offer everything needed for a comfortable stay. However, the extra bed made from the sofa was not very comfortable and could be improved. The hotel is located close to the motorway, which is convenient when travelling by car. On the other hand, if you do not have a car, it is quite far to walk to the train station and bus station. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of food and drinks to choose from. Everything was fresh and tasty. The staff were truly outstanding – very friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with any request. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. One small suggestion for improvement would be to provide conditioner in the bathroom in addition to shampoo. This would make the bathroom amenities more complete. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

This is not a 4* hotel and you should not advertise as such. Staff are lovely, however the rooms are not good (old, small, tired) and the area is poor. I was only there for one night, I would have cancelled when I arrived, if it was any longer. Again staff lovely, not their fault. The hotel facility - bad.

The beds were good, breakfast was good also, less varied than other Novotel Hotels (Nurnberg or London). In budapest the pool opens at 6.00 am, here at 10.00 which does not allow you to have an early swim and breakfast afterwards. Anyway it is not a pool for swimming intensely
