Dear Guest, We appreciate your feedback concerning your last stay at the Mercure Roma Piazza Bologna. We do apologize for the inconvenience caused due to the F&B service; unfortunately the bar was closed on the evening of your stay. But of course the breakfast service was available in the morning from 07.00 to 10.30 including an offer until 12.00. Lovely hotel in a safe neighbourhood. Nice range of eateries nearby. We were warmly welcomed by Eddy and Marianna who were so very gracious. They helped us with good suggestions in planning places to visit. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Bed was comfy and we loved the fresh linens. Would v highly recommend!

A Neighborhood with Great Transportation

We have been to Mercure Piazza Bologna before and find more neighborhood amenities each time we stay. Besides the convenient Metro Linea B, where you can change to line A there are many buses. #62 stops at Piazza Berni and near the Pantheon. The location of Mercure is just outside the central zone walls and is so much less hectic than tourist central that we delight in the more quiet neighborhood ambiance, and less crowded neighborhood pasticceria, and restaurants. The staff at the hotel are professional and very accommodating. They can help you with just about anything, so don’t be shy about asking. We don’t even bother to look at other hotels in Rome because we are so happy with this hotel.

The only negative we experienced was that the wifi was often extremely slow. The location was great, close to the Metro, in a quiet neighbourhood, and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
