I looked the room size , locations, this is quiet But , one time the house keeping for to handle my room and sometime they forget to refill the items were finished .

A solid 4/5 at this hotel. A great location alongside superb service. Check-in was poor, very poor. Silver status was ignored, in fact any Accor mention was ignored. The first room was simply unacceptable. Nothing "superior" about it - tiny beyond belief and ridiulously hot. I spoke to the front desk the next morning, and a replacement was swiftly arranged with a fan (the air-conditioning was off for the entire hotel). The replacement room was perfectly acceptable for a city location and the fan certainly helped. Cleaning was hit and miss (I had to ask the front desk for the floor to be swept). The front desk were faultless. They are what makes the hotel a 4/5 experience. If you ask for anything, they will action/deliver - be it taxis, issues etc. We would return if in the area.

This did not feel like a 4 star hotel. I've stayed in Mercure and Novotel hotels before, and this was not what I would expect. The room was not good. Too small, poor tea and coffee facilities and no shampoo or conditioner. Bathroom was boiling hot for a long time after anyone showered and the air conditioning was weak, to say the least. The breakfast was also poor. The coffee machines were just instant coffee dispensers. Not only would I expect better than that at a 4 star anyway, but we were in Italy! The cooked offerings were incredibly limited, barely edible sausages, badly cooked bacon and pretty bad scrambled eggs. But beyond that the other stuff was pretty limited too, and again, not all great quality. One or two of the local products were at least interesting, but I definitely would not have paid for this had I seen it up front. On the plus side though, the staff were generally very friendly and helpful, particularly the barman on the Sunday evening, some of the staff at breakfast and the cleaners. The only bad mark was the woman who checked us in. Not particularly rude, so to speak, but unfortunately and not at all welcoming. I will not be booking this hotel again.

Very nice Mercure hotel near the Colosseum. The rooms are pleasant, and the beds are comfortable, as expected. We were treated wonderfully for my son’s birthday — a lovely touch! The breakfast wasn’t the best I’ve had in Mercure hotels around the world, but the kids enjoyed it. The welcoming staff were very attentive and kind. The location is excellent: easy to visit many places, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and everything we visited was within 30 minutes.
