Thank you for your review, the praise for the location, and also for your critique and suggestions on improvement regarding our beds and the room temperature. We take your input very seriously and I have already discussed it with the managers and colleagues in charge. Please accept my apologies for the inconveniences you had to deal with. Regarding the air conditioning, please allow me to note that it only allows for a certain range of individual adjustments. In general, our system is set to a maximum difference of 7°C from the outside temperature (DIN EN 16798), in accordance with the recommendations of the German Federal Environment Agency, to avoid negative effects on our guests’ health. Unfortunately, when outside temperatures are unusually high, the system reaches its limits. We are pleased to provide our guests with an additional fan. We really appreciate your good marks in other aspects and are more than happy to pass them along to the respective staff members. Our employees take pride in your satisfaction and it keeps them motivated in their daily efforts to provide exceptional services. We were in Munich with two children for more than a day. We found our stay at Novotel a very pleasant experience in terms of the facility, cleanliness of the rooms, staff at the desk. Tje hotel was children friendly. The climatisation of the room was also well done. The space planning was interesting too. The price was on the higher side though. We had a lovely stay in Munich.

This was the 4th time we stayed at the hotel and this time again, we were completely relaxed, from check-in until check-out. Great accommodation, lovely staff, delicious breakfast, spacious rooms, close to the old city centre but without the hustle and bustle.

The hotel is well-maintained, and the rooms are adequately sized with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The hotel also features a very nice playroom for kids, a swimming pool, and even a gym for those who want one. We would definitely return!

On booking in I was asked if i wanted breakfast, i said yes and offered credit card for payment - then was challenged at breakfast 2 days in a row as 'not having paid' i then asked at reception and payment had not been taken for breakfast. I had the tomato pasta dish from the restaurant - it tasted OK but disappointing - not fresh. Having sat down I waited over 10 minutes for someone to take my order. I was given a car parking ticket and told to pay each day at the machine, then I asked for a ticket to cover my entire stay which I was given but it did not work correctly.

Please rest assured that I have already looked into this and taken steps - and within my team I will make sure that negative experiences like yours are a rare exception in the future. Hotel is lovely and clean, the housekeeping staff are fabulous and Leo from the restaurant looked after us very well. The only issue is the air conditioning is needing upgraded to make it a much better experience.

We had a family room on 3rd floor, very quiet and comfortable room. Swimming pool was a big hit for my family, breakfast was delicious and staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent location for centre and s-bahn.

The air conditioning wasn’t working in our first room and despite being promised it would be dealt on returning the room was hotter than the corridor! Had to go to the front desk as no one ever answered the reception phone. We were offered a superior room as a result. But we had to move ourselves and it was quite late by this time. I get the feeling they are somewhat understaffed. Anyway other than that once we were in the new room it was very comfortable and we slept well.

Great location in a more quiet neighborhood with a good selection of restaurants in the area. Restaurant in the hotel was also a good option. Easy to get into central Munich with the S-Bahn which is a 10 minute walk away.

Very disappointed. I left my suit jacket and my wife’s formal dress in the closet in our room and only realised once we had left the city, Had my German friend chase them up and only has had the jacket recovered . The dress was with the jacket so make any sense why only one item returned, so very disappointed for its non return… Seemed to take a lot more ringing and emailing than it should have …to get action. Had all emails non answered , so wasn’t until I sent our friend to the hotel we got the jacket back only.
