The hotel is located in a good area, close to almost all means of transport, groceries and restaurants are close. The area itself is really quite, making it good for relaxation. The hotel seems in a process of modernization, the rooms are not really big and the bathrooms could use an update. The bed was not really as comfortable as most Ibis hotels and the view from the window was to a parking garage. The staff was friendly and professional.

Hotel is a short walk from Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie and close to shops and restaurants for food! Overall my room was clean and spacious, the shower was surprisingly big for a hotel! The only negatives I could find were that the drinking glasses left in the bathroom had some crusty build up inside and the water from the tap in the bathroom had an unpleasant egg-like smell - although it is only a short trip downstairs to get water from a tap there or to buy a bottle from the fridge! I found the WiFi reliable on both my phone and laptop and the desk in the room was spacious enough to work and eat at without having to constantly rearrange. All staff I spoke to during my stay were incredibly friendly and helpful and they speak multiple languages, so there's no need to worry if your German isn't very good! I am planning on returning to Berlin and will pick this hotel again!

I had problems with housekeeping. When I walked at room, my shocks were getting dirty and I woke up at the midnight because of the insufficient air quality because the room was so dusty. Even, one Syrian housekeeper discussed with me in the elevator unnecessarily. He was trying the put the cleaning car when I was there and there were no enough space. Even I said make it later, he was arguing in a unpolite way. The location is very nice but the service disaster.
