Staff interactions were generally excellent, helpful and effective except for the time I complained about the sink plug which jammed shut at bedtime. I informed reception about the problem, the following morning, the room number and details were written down. At eight o'clock in the evening nothing had been done. It was then resolved after a second complaint whilst I was out to dinner. The room was clean, but the bedside lightswitch functioned intermittently, the shower doors didn't stay closed, and the wood trimming was damaged and in need of repair.

It is a (very) well-located hotel with reasonable rooms. Not ultra-modern, but the staff were friendly, the offerings in the lobby were pragmatically good, and the bed was also adequate.

Terrible customer service provided by the online management team. They don't have any way of ensuring the ground staff know about changes or requests made before check-in. Tried contacting customer service representatives multiple times prior to arrival and they confidently assured me my staying in the same room across three bookings would not be a problem. They even passed me when I double checked because later confirmation emails did not reflect this. On day of checking in, it turns out no one knew about this. The toilet of my washroom was also filthy. It smelled like piss water and was murky brown..it doesn't seem to be able to completely flush. And the inside of the toilet bowl was very dirty and had a lot of build up.
