My change in booking was lost from 18th to 21st was changed to 20th to 22nd (as confirmed via email from Mr Islam Khalil on 16th). I booked separately an additional day 19th and when I arrived was told to come to reception the next day to recheck in. When I did that I was told I had no booking because I was a no show on the 18th. They found me a room for 20th night but I had to move to another hotel for 21st because there was no room for me. When I checked out the next day I was charged a no show fee and had to request the invoice for this random additional fee. The reception supervisor then told me I would have to find proof to have the charge reversed which I said I had but did not have time to get for him. At which point I was told to ‘have a good day’ which after the heated discussion we had is at best ‘tone blind’ and worst deliberately condescending or poor training. I was also told that this stay would not count towards my status or points because it was booked via a travel agent, which is the first time I have been told that so you should remove most of my points or it is untrue which ever you like. If this is how Novotel treats a Diamond member lord knows what others get. The supervisor also corrected me I said I was platinum and he is correct I am diamond in your system, still not a good look to correct such a petty mistake in the middle of a heated argument with a customer, it makes you look petty, but he was correct if you would like to tell him.

New hotel, rooms with lots of space and nice facilities. Friendly staff. My reason for not rating Extremely High, is the breakfast, mostly that I had wait in a line to get in there for 20 minutes to even get in there and price versus the food did not go together - in my world.

The location is excellent, with an S-Bahn station very close by. The area feels safe and is conveniently located near Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie. There are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The room is equipped with a hairdryer, an iron, a kettle, and a microwave. This is our second stay here, and we would definitely come back again!

Overall incredibly dissatisfying. The capacity of beds do not match the capacity in the restaurant where breakfast is available. The explanation by staff is that for some weird reason, the guests arrive around the same time for the buffet and the staff then recommend for the guests to arrive earlier for breakfast. Newsflash, that is hotel management in a nutshell, and you should be able to manage. If you do not have restaurant capacity to match beds, or at least understand the ratio that would allow for zero to five minutes of waiting time, you need to adjust. When opting into Trustpilot this issue has existed for years, and nothing is done about it. My wait with my family was 30-40 minutes every single morning. I have travelled across the world, stayed in all different kinds of hotels with a broad variety of ratings (stars) - never have I experienced this. Topping it off with bed bugs, as my kids all of a sudden had red bite marks all over their small bodies. Again, opting into Trustpilot I realized that this has been an issue in the past as well, apparently not fixed yet. When approaching staff on this - no compensation was offered what so ever. I would give one star, but in the light of the fact that towels were changed daily I will provide two. Catastrophic is the only word that comes to mind!

Such symptoms alone do not establish their cause or confirm a connection to the hotel. Our housekeeping team regularly checks rooms for potential signs of pest activity, and our staff are trained to respond to reports in accordance with relevant health recommendations. Whenever a concern is reported, a professional pest-control company is called to assess the situation and determine whether any infestation is present. To date, no confirmed infestation has been established in relation to the concerns described. Don't book breakfast. They overbook it, so you have to wait over 30 mins in queue... that's happen multiple days at our stay.

Great location, staff friendly & helpful. Good sized room & decent, powerful shower. Only downside is air conditioning. We stayed in October & it was circa 16 degrees outside. Air con was off so we slept with window open. Most nights it was fine, but one morning we were woken just after 7am by a supply lorry unloading for ages. I'd stay again, but given reviews, perhaps not in high summer. We didn't have breakfast there but we did see long queues. There are a couple of supermarkets & good organic coffee place nearby, FYI.

Nice big room, but the aircon was not working

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The location was very convenient, making it easy to explore Berlin and visit the main attractions. Love the room interior and bedding comfort but expecting more in terms of kitchenette, they don't even provide the glasses to drink water, its just 3 tea cup and kettle, I can not find anything apart from these kitchenette.

in town for the Berlin Marathon. hotel was conveniently located. main issue was the room was very warm and the temperature controls weren't functioning.

Very confortable room, clean and really good bed. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. Very close to the subway and just 12 minutes walking from Postdamer Platz. Great hotel for exploring Berlin.

We had a very pleasant and satisfying stay. The hotel exceeded our expectations, especially with the spacious and clean room, friendly housekeeping team, and the warm, helpful service from the reception team. A special thank you to Happy at the reception, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was also very supportive of our Berlin Marathon trip, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would definitely consider staying here again. One small area for improvement would be the complimentary mineral water, tea, and coffee. These were provided only once upon check-in, even though we stayed for five days. Considering the room rate, it would be much better if these amenities were replenished daily. It would make an already great stay even more comfortable.
