We stayed at the Barking Budget Ibis. We paid £150 total for 3 people for 3 nights, so it really was a budget price. The room was set up with a double bed and a single bunk over the pillow end of the bed. It was a very comfortable bed. Had a small dessert & tv in the room with a few hangers for clothes. The bathroom had a shower that worked well. Staff were really friendly & helpful. The food they offered, though only about 3 dishes, was not badly priced & tasted really good. Our only issue was the temperature in the room. Our stay was during a heatwave, mid to high 30's so the room was boiling without AC. And the window only opened about 2 inches, which I understand because we were on the 2nd floor. There was a fan in the room but it didn't help very much. Not much else could be done about this without AC being everywhere. Reception & the seating area had it though so we sat down there. We only really wanted the room to sleep in so for the price we paid, it was great.

Basic, comfortable stay. Clean room, not the biggest space, but compact. Sad that items on the 24hour menu was not available. Staff at reception was always present
