What happened during our stay was completely unacceptable and honestly frightening. At around midnight, someone attempted to enter our room using a key card. This was clearly not an accident. The person tried multiple times to unlock the door, and when it didn’t work, they started banging loudly on the door several times. We were travelling as a family with children, and the experience left all of us shocked and extremely unsettled. After hearing repeated attempts to access the room, we were too scared to sleep. Eventually, we gathered the courage to leave the room and report the incident to reception. What made the situation even worse was the hotel’s handling of it. Reception initially denied that anything had happened and insisted it was “not possible.” Only after we repeatedly insisted that they check the security footage, they said there was someone who entered the next room but no activity was seen in this one. It was evident they were lying and only after we repeatedly insisted and didn't let go did they claim to check again and admitted that someone had indeed attempted to enter our room at the exact time we reported. Before that, they appeared more interested in denying responsibility and protecting the intruder than taking the safety concerns of guests seriously. An apology after initially denying the incident is simply not enough. Guest safety should be the absolute minimum standard at a hotel of this level, especially at a Pullman property. We are still waiting to see what meaningful resolution or accountability will come from this. To make matters worse, the room itself was tiny and absolutely not worth the price charged. The only positive is perhaps that it is practically within the Midi station. But, the presence of questionable and suspicious individuals just outside the hotel and outside the station make it extremely unsafe. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had, and we certainly would not stay here again.

Just one point for improvement. The hairdryer in my room only had a UK 3 prong plug. I used my own adaptor but a plug that fitted the sockets in the room would be useful.

Everything was smooth, the room was amazing, the minibar generous. We had a great night’s sleep. The only remark would be the fact that we found several strands of light brown long hair in certain spots like the bathroom sink, the shower, next to the telephone, the curtain. But the room itself was very clean on the whole.

We had a lovely stay here with our toddler. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean, comfortable, suite and perfect for our little family. Everything felt very welcoming and stress-free, which made travelling with a toddler so much easier. We’d definitely stay again!
