Hotel is well located. Breakfast was good. Rooms are small for two people. Toilet was working randomly. You never knew, when it worked. Nothing happened, evenif you told it in te reception. Not good at all.

We have stayed before and the rooms have been inviting.This room, on the ground floor was poor. Darkish room, one curtain panel, orange chair and pebbledash walls. Room clean on arrival but every day we had to ask for replacement towels. Towels were used once and removed by housekeeping and not replaced. One day the beds were made, other days not. The hotel lacks consistency. We asked to change rooms but none available. The option of the car park was good to have.

Toilet flush suddenly broken so wouldn't stop running. I reported to reception. The breakfast was expensive and rubbish they kept running out of everything. The room was hot, there was no 'comfort' items just the basics - towels, kettle, 2 x UHT milk and 2 x tea bags. I thought it was clean but my husband noticed hairs in the bathroom. Liverpool is a great city we want to come back to. I wouldn't stay here again though, in spite of the fantastic location. Oh, the lifts were good! And parking, actually very convenient and reasonable for 24 hours.

..our only 3..criticisms .1..no Hand towel provided....only a huge bath towel. So no towel to wrap around wet hair. 2. No electric socket, to plug in hairdryer by the mirror!! Very poorly planned. Obviously planned by a bald man. No woman would ever design a bedroom / dressing area, with NO electric socket by a mirror! 3..Bedside ' tables' too small. No room for the usual bedside bits& pieces. Ie: mobile phone, glass of water, a tissue, book, glasses etc Planners, make a note!

Ambivalent overall. The room was fine - clean and neat. The self service breakfast though was chaotic with choke points. Staff - mixed feedback, the check-in staff was very professional and pleasant. Staff in the restaurant on the first night were a bit gruff and one was dithery.
