Hotel Ibis Köln Centrum is located in a nice area of Cologne and it's the only hotel that me and my twin brother stay in when where visiting Cologne for the Christmas Markets dotted around this magical city. It's a clean Ibis hotel with a nice reception area and pleasant staff.The room that me and my twin brother were allocated was on the 2nd floor (201) which was small but very clean and met our needs. We had the breakfast option while we were here which was varied and superb and the bar was excellent.All in all a superb hotel in an excellent area and its a hotel well worth staying in. (This is my 2nd review of the Hotel Ibis Köln Centrum). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-24 Hours. Public Transport. Bus Stop. Barbarossaplatz Bus Stop-978. Tram Stop. Barbarossaplatz Tram Stop-12-15-16-18.

During my stay, the room was unexpectedly cold, even after adjusting the thermostat, which made it uncomfortable, especially at night. It did not work at all. Additionally, I was very concerned to see a mouse in the dining area. This raised serious questions about hygiene and overall maintenance. These issues significantly impacted the quality of the stay and should be addressed urgently to ensure better guest experiences in the future.

Perfect stay for us, we are always happy to walk, so the 20-30 minute walk to the centre was a breeze. The location felt safe, we were often getting back to the hotel late after the Christmas Markets and always felt safe. The hotel is budget, like most ibis hotels are but its the perfect hotel for us to travel cheap. It was clean, good size and the staff were nice, even letting us check in early as our room was ready. I would 100% stay again if i even find myself in Cologne.
