Very polite and helpful staff, clean rooms

Our team takes pride in ensuring every guest feels well cared for during their stay. However, we regret to hear that there was dust under the bed and apologize for any discomfort this may have caused. Cleanliness is a top priority for us, and while our daily housekeeping is thorough, it appears we missed a spot in your room. We are also aware that the absence of a mini bar or fridge in the room did not meet your expectations. We understand that such amenities can add convenience to the stay, and we offer a variety of take-away options at reception to cater to our guests' needs. Nonetheless, we are pleased that you appreciated our prime location, ideally situated for exploring Amsterdam's historic and cultural sights. Our stay at the hotel was overall pleasant, with a comfortable room and a satisfying breakfast. However, we encountered an issue when it came to payment—they only accepted card payments, and we didn’t have a card on hand. Unfortunately, the manager couldn’t offer any alternative solutions, so we had to arrange payment through family back in our native country. On the first day, our room wasn’t cleaned, which was a bit disappointing, but the hotel did apologize and offered us two free drinks as compensation. While there were some hiccups, the staff's effort to make amends and the quality of the breakfast made up for the inconveniences.

Good sized room especially for amsterdam. Was clean and as expected. Breakfast was ok. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well located for the centre of Amsterdam, there is also a metro station around the corner aswell as tram stops close by.

Probably the best Ibis hotel I've stayed at. All of the staff was very friendly, extremely helpful and they had big smiles on their faces.
