We stayed here in Summer and was given a room where the air conditioning didn’t work. The only solution was a small portable fan. Stayed again in winter and the heating did not work, just blew cold air. Only solution… the small portable fan heater from reception. I was moved rooms the next night, and what do you know… heater controller was broken, you could turn the temperate down but not up, so spent two nights freezing. Showers in both rooms went from scalding one second to freezing the next constantly. They don’t service your room. I complained to management and was offered a $50 bar voucher I couldn’t use due to my schedule. Will never stay here again.

After my initial visit last year where I was satisfied at a strong price point, I made this second visit and sure to book here again this time which I did. It maintained my satisfaction although cost was 25% higher but still competitive. Personnel were kind. Access to Foxtel, private bathroom and location all assisted to provide the value of investment with a secure renovated room. The only negative was one of the two lifts being out which increased waiting times to enter and exit. I remain interested in making a third visit in a few months time but this will depend on price point (single day visit vs multiple day stay) as my planning now shows another cost increase which adds fair bit of cost for the trip for multiple nights, if it continues to climb may not stay the few nights as would be preferred but instead keep a single day trip without staying any nights. I appreciate this opportunity to review my stay.
