Overall stay was ok, staff really great. However the room layout is poor, desparate need of a refurb (which i looked up and was just done a few years ago.). Windows are old, do not seal when closed, so you get all the city noise. Bedroom space way too small, my feet are completly bruised from hitting everything moving in and out of the space. Only 1 main light switch for the entire room (also did bedroom lights) so you could not have the lounge room lit if you want the bedoom dark. Absolutley no storage space to unpack clothes. Hotel was a little difficult to find, went into the wrong one first, they seemed to know ie was a common thing. Was woken up every night around 4am by doors slamming (against our bedroom wall), it was so loud. could also hear the neighbours TV. Bathroom was poirly layed out, toilet is on a slope, tiles run down to a bath area (the drain is uphill, that could get interesting). And i almost knocked out the sprinkler, as the ceiling is so low, i luckily missed it. Shame as we planned a quick getaway long weekend. Felt like i need another as soon as we left. Stayed in room 711 weekend of 15-19 oct 2026 in Premium Executive Room. This is really impacting our decision on whether we renew our membership to accor (and accor+). Its a shame as the hotel has a lot of potential, and as mentioned our staff interaction (mainly restaurant) was excellent. There were many other things, but am just wanting to put this experience behind me

The room was noisy, with buskers late into the night and trams all day and night.
The bathroom sink was blocked (there is no way the cleaner would not have noticed).
I was told the towels would be replenished but they never were.
I asked for my wet towels to be taken away and was assured that they would be but they never were. I was there four days and they just piled up wet on the floor until I left.
I had breakfast in the club lounge and had to pick a LOT of bad brown avocado out of my mashed avocado toast. No guest should have to do that. When I pointed it out I was asked “Was it not to your liking?” I have a photo of this.
When I checked out I mentioned the towels and the person at the desk wasn’t remotely interested.
I am Accor Platinum but I did not at any point in my stay feel like a valued customer.

The experience of our stay was one of extreme disappointment in a ''unsafe'' and dangerous room namely the shower that continually leaked and left ''pooling'' of water in front of toilet creating a severe OHS issue and I believe a breach of the Hotels ''duty of care'' obligations. An insipid response from management! I expected better from Pulman and Accor!

On the whole it was really great. We went for dinner in the blossom restaurant on the Wednesday. Meals was beautiful but the staff were more interested in socializing with each other rather than being attentive to the clients. It made that experience really off putting.
Annoying that your systems didn’t recognize the Accor account level and we had to get our bill checked over twice as discounts not applied.
